Ahman Green had the prettiest runs, for wont of a better term, than any other Packer RB l have witnessed. He could stop on a dime and cut through a hole, just make your jaw drop sometimes .

Re: General Packer News 2021
What's the news on our punter? It was reported Wednesday that he was added to the covid list.
I don't think we added a punter since then, and don't know if we have one on the PS.

Time-outs and Clock Management
Hard to argue that special teams are the Pack's glaring weakness, but I am concerned that our Achilles heel could be the freewheeling use of timeouts and the time clock. Directly related to this is the seeming disregard for running the clock when holding the lead. Seems to me it has happened often t...

Re: Packers Next Stadium
The crowd today was absolutely AWESOME. :aok: Twas a GOLD Package crowd. Was definitely a rockin' crowd! Lots of on-your-feet time ( the 20 minutes the Rams had the ball, lol!), and NO WAVE!!! NOT EVEN ONCE!!! Unless l missed it on the restroom trip... The Packers have done a great job of trying to...

Re: Packers Next Stadium
My first game at Lambeau was in '95. Yucs we're in their last season of the creamsicle unis. Reggie must've knocked Dilfer down a dozen times, each time picking him up and dusting him off! The place was loud and ROWDY. Crowd was on its feet most of the game, we were in row 60. Packer fans were HUNGR...

Either Aaron wasn't very sick, is a quick healer, or the "horse liniment" really works!

Re: Odell Beckham
After his Dad posted the video of him not being thrown to, and "king" James throwing in his "FREE OBJ!!" two cents, ABSOLUTELY NOT. Great way to destroy team chemistry in a quick hurry. He strikes me as a terribly selfish individual. Same thing with Desean Jackson. We don't need ...

Re: Rodgers out with covid
@packman114 the hate is just like a player who pops positive for marijuana. We all get high and know it's accepted, but we also know the rules. Rodgers being unvaxxed means that a positive test mandates 10 days out, not just 2 negative tests until you return. It means that if Kurt Benkert tests pos...

Re: Rodgers out with covid
Even though I hate the term, "It is what it is", it is appropriate in our situation. Pissing and moaning will solve nothing; next man up. I assume Cobb will be preparing for emergency QB duties. He would probably be as effective as any street guy we pick up before Sunday. As for AR, l like...

Re: Adams wants out
I disagree. Gute was smart to draft AR2 in the third. If Adams goes down, what veteran has shown the ability to fill Adams' shoes? None that l have witnessed. If his butt is hurt over that pick, that's his problem. No different than AR being miffed about the Love pick, except he's bummed about a THI...

Uffda, l forgot about Lazard! And Lupe, l agree with your NFCCG analysis of him. We needed him to step up that day. As for MVS, l guess l wouldn't bet my paycheck on him getting shipped, but l also wouldn't bet it on him staying. One possible factor to think about is this: ls there factionalizing ha...

Re: OTAs
Hmm, seems like the vast majority of players throughout the league have been attending OTAs. Our #3, 4, 5, & 6 Wars had better have a damn good excuse, voluntary or not. Who stays and who goes? Considering Funchess has never even made it to the practice field with the Pack, l seriously doubt he ...

Too bad MtneerMom doesn't check in anymore. She was always a big supporter of Jason Hunter, another App St kid. She could probably shed a little more light on SJC.

Re: Rank the Roster 2021: #15
I think Dillon is going to have a big year. After him, l'd say Barnes is close. Gotta cut him some slack for the club on his hand.
I'm not convinced that Exxon Valdes will even be on the final 53. The OTA skip is gonna shake up the WR room.

Re: Rodgers wants out
Both AR and Love stay this season. Too expensive to trade Rodgers. We trade him and we lose some vets next year, guaranteed, even with the salcap increasing. So, then what? A couple years of rebuild with all those draft picks we're supposed to glean from the Broncos? Does anyone believe Denver would...

Re: OTAs
I still have a hard time believing that AR will be playing for anyone but us this year. The Pack holds all the cards. If he's traded in June, he is still a huge cap hit both this year and next. Could we afford to take vets in trade? Do we then cut a couple of high-priced vets to cover our salcap but...
