Any news on the Rams' QB Wolford?
From Rams Twitter
Updating previous reports, Los Angeles Rams QB John Wolford (neck) was released from the hospital and was in the locker room after the Wild Card playoff game, according to head coach Sean McVay.

Re: What Are You Watching?

WoT was definitely a slog to get through the mid-late part of the series. I remember reading one of the books and the first thing I thought after finishing it was... NOTHING HAPPENED! Maybe a TV series could liven things up a little by giving more time to the Foresaken and their internal politics. I...

Smith and Brown were "coming back" from their own misdeeds and that isn't (and likely shouldn't) be rewarded in this way.

Re: Post Season Awards

Remembering how uninspired I felt after hearing about both the MM and MLF coaching hires reminds me of how little I actually know about football.

Re: Post Season Awards

Dang, if Roeth an Smith are the front runners for comeback player of the year, the award should probably be scrapped. Roeth has been awful for a good chunk of the season. Smith is a much better story, but he's played maybe half a season? It's always been kind of a weird award anyway. In truth it's c...

Re: General Packers News 2020

As long as the OL coaches aren't poached and the injuries don't pile up, I am pretty confident that OL won't be a problem in 2021 however they decide to line them up.

AFC North, NFC East, current two best divisions in football.

Things can change very quickly, but as it stands now.

I'll assume that should be NFC West

https://twitter.com/mattschneidman/status/1347591934634766337?s=20 Ooooff, Linsley gunna be damn pricey if we want him back. Likewise Davante if we want to extend him to lower his 2021 cap. Always kind of like the buy low, sell high mentality, so I would probably wouldn't touch Davante yet, really ...

Re: What Are You Watching?

Supposedly Martin did give those chuckle heads his notes for what he planned for the ending, and they more or less stayed within those bounds. Two things I'd expect to stay the same, but be told in a much more satisfying way. 1) Daenarys loses her s@!* 2) Bran the Bewildered takes the throne The big...

Re: What Are You Watching?

More seriously, the main thing I assume Martin would do (much) better is conveying the slow descent into madness by Daenerys. The show did a terrible job of telling the backstory of the Targaryen family, and then used the family history of insanity as a primary driver for the finale season. I had re...

Re: What Are You Watching?

If George R. R. Martin has anything whatsoever to do with the development and production of the spin-off, then I’m not remotely surprised. He hasn’t even finished the A Song of Ice and Fire book series yet. Call me a dope, but I’m hopeful the book ending is better than the television version. Multi...

Re: Cheese Curds - 2020 - News Around The League

I might have to revise my opinion of Watson after reading his reaction to the hiring of the new Texans GM. Sounding like a bit of a diva, and since when did teams start consulting their QB's for input on GM hires? https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30670344/houston-texans-qb-deshaun-watson-bothered...

Re: Cheese Curds - 2020 - News Around The League

Not sure I agree that Watson to CHI would work out well for GB fans. He's maybe a little overrated, but IMO it's only a little. I'd need a clearer picture of what CHI would be losing in the process. CHI going back in time and drafting Watson over Trub would not be ideal.

Re: Aaron Jones Watch

Ref: the Dolphins. That doesn’t seem to be their style in building out their roster, tho. They appear to me to be FA bargain hunters and/or draft and develop types. Reggie McKenzie did it that way in Oakland and he’s now in a very senior FO position with the Dolphins. I suppose anything is possible...

Re: General Packers News 2020

It's probably more realistic to think soccer could eventually overtake the NFL in US popularity than to think the NFL will ever take hold in China. Re: General Packers News 2020

Can someone remind me why I give a damn about betting? I work for a state budget office, so I can tell you, you probably want your state to get that revenue rather than through more generalized taxes.
