Re: Green Bay Packers’ News - 2025

I hate the term overhang defender, but he is something along those lines. I think he could be a TE eraser.

Re: Green Bay Packers’ News - 2025

Arizona used him as a LB and NY used him at S. He is neither, apparently, but I still believe a smart DC could make the most out of him. I was convinced he was a future HOF talent when he came out.

Re: 2025 NFL Draft - Who's Going?

 Did Bogey publish his Draft Week itinerary yet? I know Stadium View on Monday around 5 is one of the high value plans. :beer2: Stadium View at 5 sounds great. Only know part of my work schedule yet for the week: Thursday and Friday 10am-11pm and Saturday 7am-7pm. There will be some prep h...

Re: 2025 NFL Draft - Football Thread

possibly a good thing, no disappointment some of us will feel when our Fav is passed by our GM I have gotten pretty good at realizing that I don't know &%$@. Makes the eval part more fun just to stay humble and realize that the guys that do this full-time are much better than me and the 5 minut...

Nah, even with RBs making a comeback, you gotta be in a base nickel in today's NFL.
Or find that unicorn that can function as a LB and cover like a S. I keep thinking the next truly great NFL defense is going to have these guys that are pretty much position-less.

Re: Your Packers-specific Big Board

Unless I have super persuasive evidence that the thing with Mike Green is a nothingburger, I would avoid him. If he was more of a scheme fit I'd do more of an investigation on it, but as is, don't feel a need to look into it very hard. I also have to say no to Pearce over the red-flags with him. I ...

Your Packers-specific Big Board

Fun topic that is creating some conversation. Get some of you amateurs to put the pen to paper, so to speak.

Re: 2025 NFL Draft - Football Thread

For which reason, I am way more in favor of adding interior DL with good pass-rushing skill or off-ball LBs that blitz well over DE/EDGE types. Give me a Derrick Harmon, Walter Nolen, or heck even the UCLA LB in Round 2 over these slow-burn rushers like Jackson, Ezeiraku, Sawyer, etc. I do like Kyl...

Honestly, at this point, I think Rodgers is just waiting to make sure Pittsburgh doesn't pick a Round 1 QB.

Come on Aronron, sign with the Steelers, it's your only hope.
Quit flattering yourself. He would never consider the Vikings.
He would if they pay him enough.
I don't think so. Not even for Eleventy Billion dollars.

Re: 2025 NFL Draft - Football Thread

I was watching Ohio State last year and a player jumped out. A man among boys. I looked him up and it was Tyleik Williams. I’m really hoping the Packers can nab him. I don’t understand why he is not a top 20 pick. I get it. They say he takes plays off and disappears sometimes but this guy is a mons...

Re: 2025 NFL Draft - Football Thread

Also (#HotTake maybe): based on last year's performance, we do not have any "needs" going into this draft other than for more firepower/weapons in the passing game. By that I mean, if all stays the same as last year, everything else is good enough to win with, except our passing game; wha...

Re: 2025 NFL Draft - Football Thread

If it were not obvious what I am getting at here... Colston Loveland at 23 is a good pick, actually. Change my mind! >=D I have looked at these in the past, but the other way around. I thought Devin Funchess was going to be the next big thing at TE. Then, same exact thing with Chase Claypool. Simil...
