Sup y'all, Packers football 2024.
Apparently everyone thinks we're taking this Dejean fellow. I couldn't even tell you what position he plays.
I'm pulling for a "weapon" type player in the first. Then a bunch of bigs and secondary in the rounds to follow.

Re: AJ Dillon Returns to GB
Nice to have a cheap bit of offense. There were times where he was a strong net plus, not often, but there were times. Cool guy. GB has had a run of cool guys at RB.

Re: Packers releasing Aaron Jones
I wouldn’t be surprised if we still bring him back after he tests the market. I think this as well. Teams are going to be scared of the injury history and age, hard to give a blockbuster deal to an old running back. There's still tread there, but chances are there won't be, at least the electric sp...

Re: Great Season! Greater next year!
I can't put my thoughts together yet. Better for now to say that the 2023 Packers overcame and realized how good then can be. And maybe 2024 will be better. We certainly think so! The core of this young team believes they are going to be great. Early Favre was the same way (early Rodgers to a degre...

Re: LaFleur's 2024 To-do list
To me his #1 priority is to gain more consistency in the redzone. Two years in a row now this team has been pretty bad in the redzone IMO. Last year they didn’t have the passing weapons I felt. This year they couldn’t run the ball. It seems like an offseason to think about what to do with our two n...

Awesome, did not expect that after the D played well toward the end of the season.

And the 4th and 1 whose generous spot wasnt enough, so they put the ball in front of the refs foot, called out the chains, then measured away from the ball without pulling tight.Scott4Pack wrote: ↑07 Jan 2024 19:57BETWEEN this one and Melton’s “non touchdown” I think da Bears fared well with the refs.

Re: Packers Vikings Post Game 33-10
Though I also want that high-IQ athletic DB from Iowa and a DC that can move him around to different spots to maximize his effectiveness... so maybe I do care a little about draft stock, haha I still think our best long term outcome for the Packers is Love and the offense looks great but our defens...

Re: Cheese Curds - News Around The League 2023
Holy hell has twitter ever started to suck. Following GB players is why I joined in the first place long ago then we got the golden era of live practice notes. Gameday its always been a huge enhancement, the convo better than the Aikman/Buck blathering; it sees things you miss (injuries, personnel s...

Re: The Age of Artificial Intelligence
Ah a fellow Graeber fan. I do think that AI will be hugely influencial in Dr. Graeber's field. Our understanding of history (and thus anthropology) is highly dependent on a few limiting factors, translating ancient texts is a big one. AI assisted search is a dramatic leap. I'm pretty into geneology,...

Re: Bakh To IR
This situation is so odd.
I'm 50-50 that he saw Rodgers' injury and mentally retired, basically not capable of sustained high effort play any longer, and that there is no real physical ailment.

Re: Cheese Curds - News Around The League 2023
Man this season is the best. GB is super fun to watch and reasonably decent at football.
The Bears have the looks of an 0-17 team. Their fans sound like fans about to be 0-17 fans.
The Vikings are terrible. They too haven't won a game.

Re: go pak go's Visit to Atlanta
Glad you liked it down here. I didn't make it to the game, but had tickets in my cart mutiple times (along with another couple we were coordinating with, ended up renting a beach house with them instead, lol). I still haven't been to M-B but did see them at at the Georgia Dome back in 2010. Barely a...

Back in his later years that's the only place Brett could hit with any modicum of success. Outside was almost always off target. Slants and crossers tho, Brett would shred ya.
I remember what a nice change Aaron was.

Re: Week 1 Post-Game: Packers 38 Bears 20
This was my favorite game in quite a while. On the same tier as the game Aaron burned Atlanta to the ground. Will always be a game that stands out in memory. Jordan's first game as a starter and they go and crush the Bears convincingly, gets his backup some snaps. The devastation in Chicago is truly...

Is the waiver order the same as the draft order?
I assume we're all going to put in a claim on the same guy. Hopefully he falls to me.

Re: Jordan Love 2023 Expectation/Player Comparison
To your post, I can very much see Love performing at the same level of QB play as Rodgers was last year . Exceedingly, even. It then becomes a matter of defense and ST playing to their collective abilities. Yeah, 2022 Rodgers isn't nearly the bar that 2011 Rodgers was. Throughout his career I think...
