Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #9

Been thinking more about our WR group and looking at some more video. I honestly believe our 2 best WR's will be Wicks and Reed. Both guys seem to find ways to get open and create separation more than the other wideouts. Watson has potential to be a big play guy, but I doubt he will ever be a volum...

Re: Green Bay Packers' News - 2024

I know that Colin Cowherd is nobody's favorite commentator, but I agreed with what he said this past week about a potential Jordan Love contract. I can't find the clip, but essentially he was saying that it is too soon to offer a max deal and that he'd be more comfortable letting Love continue to p...

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #9

I love our WR group all around, and Reed may end up being the best in the group but when available for gameday Watson is just a whole different level of attention required by the defense. If he had played 17 games last season, he probably would have gone top 3. I will say it again. As a Packer fan ...

Re: Packers Defense - 2024

Would love to hear if there is any hype about Van Ness or any interesting news. Would love to see him take that big next step forward in production his second year. Lupe kind of mentioned it. It could be a big deal. Wyatt was making impactful plays last year. I think he can be even better. Would lov...

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #8

then Reed, Wicks, Watson, and Doubs all together. I wonder if Musgrave and Kraft should be part of this bloc as well, and where they rank. I think Musgrave is analogous to Watson as a homerun hitter with availability and refinement issues. Kraft is going to be incredibly useful to this offense in w...

Not a shot Love gets less than 50M per year. I guarantee his agent is working all the angles to get that deal. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was 55M.
Agree. Chances are that as long as Love continues to progress as he has thus far, it will be a bargain the 2nd half of the contract.

Re: 2024 Season Home Opener

I would find it highly entertaining to crush the Vikings in the home opener. Welcome to NFL Packer football JJ MAC. Or, if its Darnold we can crush him too. :) Just win baby!!!

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #5

I'm taking Reed and Doubs over Watson right now. Watson has alot to prove still. I'm hoping Watson has a break out year and makes All Pro. Along with Musgrave and Love. :beer2: Definitely agree with the Watson take. Yes, he is a great athlete, but he has never proven to be a talented WR. He has not...

Re: MarShawn Lloyd, RB, USC, 2024 3rd round pick#88

I am kinda just wait and see. I think one of the scouting report negatives was vision. I kinda agree with that. Hope it works because I don't want AJ Dillon getting a crap load of carries as "Go pack Go" mentioned early. Pass protection might be something to worry about, but may just need...

Re: MarShawn Lloyd, RB, USC, 2024 3rd round pick#88

Gotta fix the fumbling problem. Agree. Also, one of the reasons I mentioned vision is just because Aaron Jones seemed to be one of the best. Avg per carry was always great because he saw holes quicker and faster than most guys. I believe that. Guys will have to try to live up to his great production.

Re: 2024 Draft Day 1 Discussion

I am truly not afraid of Caleb Williams. I think he’s the next Baker Mayfield. He will be fine but nothing that special. Odunze on the other hand worries me. I get he was the 2nd best WR in the class. I think he will be really good in his 2nd year. He will have some struggles early on, but man he h...

Re: 2024 Draft Day 1 Discussion

Im going to take back some of my JJ MCCarthy critical statements. I hope he sucks, because I always want the Vikings too suck , especially living here in MN. I watched some more video of him last night and I saw him make some nice tight window throws. Hopefully it was luck, but I think he probably i...

Re: 2024 Draft Discussion

Well, apparently Andy Reid likes him( Worthy). Damn!!! I bet chiefs fans are excited thinking about Mahome's newest toy. Cheetah #2 ???

WR was definitely a need there in KC. Probably will be alot of fun watching them 2 if your team isn't playing them.

Re: 2024 Draft Day 1 Discussion

https://twitter.com/MySportsUpdate/status/1783711858014277637?s=19 Its kind of a proven model. It worked out great with Aaron and now seemingly Jordan Love. Could argue that maybe they (Falcons) could have traded down and still got him, but thats always a gamble (and you need a partner) if you real...

Re: 2024 Draft Day 1 Discussion

If Cooper Dejean slides a bit in the top of the 2nd, do we have enough juice to go up and take him? I have no idea how likely this is, but it crossed my mind.

Who are some guys left anyone likes if we stand at 41 that may still be there?

Re: Jordan Morgan, OL, Arizona 2024 1st Round Pick, #25

Ultimately, sounds like a good pick. Versatile lineman that has the upside to get better and will be able to do what the Packers ask him to do. I don't love the fact he has had an ACL already, but hopefully we never have to hear them letters again concerning him.
