Re: Cheese Curds - News Around the League 2024

I don't think Rodgers is washed , he still seems to have a good enough arm, and vet QBs can get by in a lot of experience and savvy, in theory. Peyton did it in his final year as a pro with an absolute noodle arm. The problem is he thinks he can be a de-facto OC, and while some great QBs have done ...

Just watched the replay - what a game by Watson. That last catch was ridiculously good!

I pick who I want to win, not who I think will win.
You wanted the Vikings to lose to the Jags?
Have you ever seen my pick the Vikings win?
Yes, when they played the Packers.

Re: Six-Pack Pick'em Challenge: Week 11

Without looking at yhe spreads, these all seem like pickem games except for Pack over Bares. Why do you do this to us? :kaboom:  If it were easy, Vikings fans would be good at it... ;) I pick who I want to win, not who I think will win. You wanted the Vikings to lose to the Jags?

Re: Cheese Curds - News Around the League 2024

Sometimes, teams play well after a cathartic firing. That's called the Dead Cat Bounce and the Saints rode it to a W vs the Falcons this week. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_cat_bounce The Bears offense consists of Caleb Williams running sideline to sideline for 15s every play then either getti...

Re: Cheese Curds - News Around the League 2024

Don’t like this, just adds some uncertainty to a bad and predictable offense. Sometimes, teams play well after a cathartic firing. Re: Green Bay Packers' News - 2024

I hope we used the extended time off to real focus in on cleaning up mistakes and playing sound football. And I hope the WRs spent a lot of time on the Juggs (sp?) machine, because the drops have been back-breaking. How does one fix pre snap penalties? How does 5 extra days address this? I am just ...

How the heck do you win a game when you throw five interceptions?
Because one of the defensive guys you traded for ( Carlton Davis) turned a sure TD into an interception.

Dang, I'm 3 off the lead and didn't even make any picks for weeks 2 and 3.
Those two weeks you missed were your two mulligan weeks. They were forgiven.

Just don't miss another one... ;)
At least your math is right, I’m being robbed of 2 pts

Re: Trade deadline approaching Nov. 5th

And GB sells at the trade deadline as per usual. Got to make room for Hopper to get playing time I guess  Sarcasm aside there’s not many players who were rumored to be available that I would have wanted. DK Metcalf for sure and maybe someone like Honey Badger but we are more than a few pieces a...

Re: Lions @ Packers GDT: Sunday, Nov. 3rd, 3:25 PM CST

In hindsight I’m kind of glad MLF did not pull Love. He needs to know how to respond to adversity and he really did to be fair. He moved the ball in a must pass situation against the top team in the conference while injured and in horrible weather conditions. Hopefully that is the turning point for ...

Of course, the reason he’s on a prove-it deal is because…well…he hasn’t.
He was somewhat productive in SF last year on that talented DL, but they didn't try to bring him back.
He was gawd awful at holding the edge and very susceptible to misdirection

Re: Lions @ Packers GDT: Sunday, Nov. 3rd, 3:25 PM CST

Valentine is no slouch, I think we will be fine in the secondary as run support/tackling/toughness is arguably more important than coverage ability vs the Lions.

On O we need to get some long balls out to whoever CB Arnold is covering. That guy is a DPI machine.

Re: Green Bay Packers' News - 2024

It makes complete sense to me that those prognosticators unanimously picked the Lions. Detroit is built exactly like the type of team that has bullied the Packers around in recent history. These are some corn fed boys who show up to beat your ass into the dirt. Hey, Packers- we've watched you beat ...
