Re: Cuts and stuff

Dillon gotta be one of the worst second round picks in packers history!! ...in the eye of the beholder, but https://www.packersdraft.com/round/2.html There is another tier of busts below Dillon, IMO. Dillon was at least an okay player through his rookie contract, which is a lot more than can be sai...

Re: Cuts and stuff

Our favorite blogger said Glover graded out about neutral and had some wow moments. They're not gonna cut that in Year 1 if they can help it. I feel like we carry a redshirt developmental OL almost every year.

Re: All Remaining TCs

He looked good, but did he go up against anyone remotely skilled as a pass rusher?

I mean if any team was going to fix his issues, it was this one, and yes, he looked good in the games. But he looked bad against our studs, so I hope we are not crowning him if his good play came against scrubs.

Re: Packers trade for Malik Willis

I don't mind this move for what little we gave up, and Willis has a pretty interesting skill set at QB so I even kind of like this move.

With that said I still kinda like Pratt as QB2. :idn: being a total unknown is a huge advantage as a backup QB.

Re: Packers Offensive Line 2024

Yeah, for all the reports out of camp about how bad he looked (which I'm sure were true) Dillard has held up well enough in live action. I don't know if he went up against anyone with legitimately dangerous pass rush ability, maybe Bonito(?) but he has passed the eye test. Telfort does not look terr...

Re: Packers @ Broncos Preseason GDT: Sunday, August 18th, 7:00 PM CST

Nobody on that list would make me feel good about our chances with them at QB, or appreciably better about them than Pratt, other than Tannehill. I don't feel a need to bring Tannehill in now. And with Pratt there is upside, unlike the guys on that list. Plus, new QBs present a unique danger, teams ...

Re: Cheese Curds - News Around the League 2024

Bears basically got to draft a young Aaron Rodgers and L-Fitz in the same class thanks to Carolina being run by clueless morons. They probably aren't contenders this year but the long-term prospective with those two is a nightmare. There is a point to which some players are so damn talented that a t...

Re: Cheese Curds - News Around the League 2024

wow that is massive. What a shame for him. I never root for anyone to get hurt. And I liked the kid. Now, as for Vikings fans, I am absolutely delighted for this. For a fan base that celebrated the injury of Rodgers, it’s very fitting this happened to them. Ah, no. That's more myth than fact. I don...

Re: Final Roster Prediction

I need to see a bit more play and practice reports. Like, I thought Dillard was playing himself off the roster, but he looked ok last weekend.

Rochell to PS, easy. Ballentine is a good backup corner and also has ST value. Rochell had a nice outing, but nothing that would make me worry about getting enough interest from other teams to lose him.

Re: Packers @ Browns Preseason GDT: Saturday, August 10th, 3:25 PM CST

I am not some big Dillon proponent. I will feel a little bad for him if he gets cut because he's such a big Packers booster, but I would do it if I valued him less than the 53rd best player because there's really nothing special in his game. But I need more than just a small handful of preseason sna...
