Re: Packers Offensive Line 2024
Sounds like Morgan has held his own at RG, which would make me feel a lot better about the OL if true. Rhyan's play last year is not good enough to start for me but I'm ok with it as a backup. So that takes care of G depth. We have a few guys who can play C. Monk has experience at both. Question to ...

Re: Preseason games
Where does it end? Bakhtiari effed up his knee in a practice, should we stop having vets do practice? Last two preseason games, play the starters. it's a 17 game season, unless we are attempting to go 17-0 why bother to chance injury in a non seasonal game, it's not how you start By that thinking, ...

Re: Jordan Morgan, OL, Arizona 2024 1st Round Pick, #25
I question putting him at RG. You're making a rookie learn a different position and different side of the OL. I'd rather have him focus on being the best swing-OT he can be, since we need a guy who can play T capably should Walker or Tom be unavailable. I don't mind drafting a Guard in Round 1, but ...

Re: All Remaining TCs
I'd like to see DuBose take the last WR spot. Heath is pretty meh; I thought he put too many balls on the ground for a bigger but not overly fast/explosive receiver. Alternatively, I'd like to see Heath improve his hands and ball skills!

Re: Packers Defense - 2024
. Jeff Hafley says Rashan Gary didn’t like the defense’s intensity recently and asked Hafley if he could speak to the defense. Hafley seemed pumped that Gary wanted to. Intensity picked up afterward. “That’s something that you guys might not see, but it’s important to note.” There were people whini...

Offense ended up winning practice today, notwithstanding Love shaking off rust at the beginning. Sounds like they looked night and day better.

Re: Training Camp - Day 2
I hope we pull Dillard at RT soon and start Jordan Morgan's trial-by-fire. Let him get tested now so he's ready for what he would face this season, than waste those reps on a reclamation project that appears headed for failure. My only real hopes for Dillard when we signed him was that maybe he'd fi...

Re: Big Ken Gets Paid Again
Someone said it's not elite DT money in which case I'm fine with this. I was thinking I'd rather do a youth movement at DT not unlike we have done at WR but that was under the assumption that Clark would to be paid like a marquee guy. I also feel like he will shine in a 1-gap system way more. Let's ...

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #38
I will Return to Monk(e) with my first vote. 'Pretty undecided with my second vote. Anthony Johnson Jr. did open OTAs as the starter, and I was big on him as a rookie. He could surprise, I guess, in spite of all the competition. I also think Ben Sims is really underrated and has more upside than peo...

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #36
I'll be optimistic and believe Morgan will be our swing tackle behind Walker/Tom. Our primary IOL backup, other than moving Tom inside and promoting Morgan, will be Monk IMO.
But fwiw I am a Donovan Jennings stan, I could see him being the next man up at G after Tom if they keep Monk strictly at C.

Re: Cheese Curds - News Around the League 2024
The only thing the Packers could have done differently is re-sign him earlier when he was thinking about a new deal, but at the time, the long-term situation at QB was unclear. And so they prioritized extending Rodgers but not re-signing Adams at the time he wanted his deal is reportedly what made h...

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #35
Not sure Monk has a real chance at it this year. Rhyan has had 2 seasons in the Strength/Conditioning program and his run blocking/drive skills are ahead of Monk- and so is his knowledge of the offense. I don't think Monk will actually unseat Rhyan for RG1, just that if anyone does so, my bet would...

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #35
'Been voting Wooden here for a while. I'm gonna go with Jacob Monk with my other vote. Backup OL often see the field. I think Morgan will be our swing T, but I don't think he is a good option inside. Looking at the roster, I have to think Monk is the heavy favorite backup IOL. He's listed at C but h...

McDuffie.
Wooden. He has put on some muscle, which will help him greatly. He has a little extra versatility now too by lining up at DE, so injuries at either position could get him on the field. They rotated him in last year as a raw rookie, I expect he will see a bit more snaps this season.

Zadarius Smith absolutely taking over the game at Minnesota, 2019. That was up there with Woodson DPoY season performances, for me.

Oh yeah he will definitely be DT way more than DE, the versatility just helps give him more ways to see the field.
