Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #31
Where are these Dillon votes coming from. He had his chance in the sun last season was dog &%$@. To the point the team had to dig through the cap rules to pay him damn near nothing and brought in two more backs. Dillon is certified cheeks. We are ranking the bottom half of the roster. Dillon pr...

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #30
RG is Rhyan's to lose, and he is not facing very tough competition for it. He will probably start and play a lot of games. At worst, he is your backup swing G, which can still see the field more than a little. Dillon probably is our third-down 'back, and should also see the field a lot. A lot of fol...

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #29
IDL are highly rotational. Slaton will see the field plenty even if they do move Brooks ahead of him on the depth chart. As it stands Slaton is still taking practice reps with the 1s.

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #27
I am a huge Karl Brooks proponent. He has tough competition to see the field, though. You have Kenny Clark who is clearly the leader of the DL room. Wyatt is a 1st-round pick and specializes at the thing Brooks does well, interior pass-rush. Slaton will be preferred in run-stop situations. Wooden wi...

A lot of you denied the claims we made about Rodgers. Now you complain as we point out Rodgers himself proving us right.
Well, you chose your side, and you lost. Defeat tastes bitter. Next time, choose more wisely. Or just listen to us, since our judgment is clearly superior to yours!![Cool 8-)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #27
Any of the first six guys on the poll can be argued here. I could also see Colby Wooden take a step this year, too. My vote will be Rhyan alone. I think he will be RG1 this season, in which case he will be more impactful than anyone else on the list. I think he'll be solid, too, if maybe a bit incon...

Re: OTAs
Dillard over Walker is wild.
Actually it's probably less to do with pecking order and more to do with having Dillard play both T spots while playing Rhyan with starting 1s at RG and Morgan at RT.

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #25
There is absolutely no need to unseat Walker from LT1 with the play he's giving you there. The job is his to lose, and if he picks up where he left off last year, he won't lose it.

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #25
I vote Slaton for the reasons explained in the OP. Valentine, too. He was solid as a rookie and we are moving to a new coverage scheme that suits him a lot more than the Barry defense did. I don't think he'll ever be anything special but could be a really solid CB2-3 and that's still quite valuable....

Yeah those unis are fresh af, too bad it is wasted on Minny's sad excuse of a football squad.

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #24
OP persuades me, Myers and Slaton.
Next up, Morgan and Rhyan. I don't think Morgan will start if Walker and Tom are healthy, but OL6 still sees the field a lot and he will probably be the first one off the bench. Ryan looks primed to start at RG.

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #21
Stokes was ranked #22 last year due to struggling in Year 2 and then getting hurt midway through the year. This past season, he was hurt for the vast majority of he season, and in the very limited action he saw, he was terrible. So being MORE hurt and playing worse warrants +1 improvement? :| Meanwh...

Re: Cheese Curds - News Around the League 2024
I woulda traded him. They have a pretty good receiver group without him, could flip him for picks, plus go hog wild in FA while McCarthy is on his rookie deal if he's any good, build up a stacked roster around him. I'm not a big believer in JJ but Sean McVay got to a SuperBowl with a middling Jared ...

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #20
LT1 is Walker's job to lose. Nothing is given to you at the pro level, not even 1st Round picks.
Having said that, OL6 often sees the field a lot. We will probably see plenty of Jordan Morgan this year even if he's not a starter. I wouldn't rank him too far behind Walker.

Kraft cheese man!
Then ?? -!
Honestly the next tier is like 10 different guys for me. I think Walker might be at the top of the list, though. LT is a premium position and I am convinced it is still his to lose.

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #18
I will say, *if we are truly playing our best 5 OL* ... it is hard to imagine Rasheed Walker not being among them. Even if Morgan leap-frogs him for LT, and even assuming Myers isn't replaced by Tom at C, who is the fifth best OL if not Walker? Rhyan? I'm not convinced of that (yet), and I can't thi...

Re: Rank the Roster 2024: #18
Kraft, but then ?? Kraft played good football late last year. He's a nice athlete and make plays as a receiver. He was also was a legit blocker. The value of a two-way TE cannot be understated; it opens up the offensive playbook in a big way. I'd have ranked him higher than 18 but needed to get Doub...

Re: Green Bay Packers' News - 2024
Rodgers was at his best when he had the "chip on his shoulder" and in his early career he had that, especially with the Favre drama and people openly doubting him. He did seem to largely lose that after 2010; he no longer needed to prove he could win it all. I definitely think his great 2...

that stuff only works when ya have a Adams and .................., even then a quality QB can win a lot of games. like Rodgers in 09, Keep your pet topic out of the news thread. I'am not the guy snooping for Jets articles to trash the ex QB. I posted that in Cheese Curds. It was relevant to the thr...
