Re: Official 2020 Draft Thread - Day 2 - NO SPOILERS!!!

Didn't want Mims so all good but also coming to the realisation we aren't going to be helped at all this year.

Re: False Prophet

Quality post - good effort.

I agree it is like he is trying to be cute with the draft. Keep it simple stupid should be plastered all over Lambeau.

Re: Round 1 (26) - Jordan Love, QB Utah State

It's just not smart from cap management perspective aswell.

You want a rookie qb to sit a max of 1 year. This way you get play out of them for 5 years before they have a ridiculous cap hit.

If we go from Rodgers to Love after 4 or 5 years we get no time to stock up and invest in other positions.

The whole comparing it to us picking Rodgers - Rodgers was BPA - it was essentially is he going to be number 1.

Can only laugh at this pick right now - just so dumb.

Pat McAfee live youtube draft show has been so good.

Re: 2020 Positional Draft Talk - WR

Mims basically just runs post routes and pushes off the CB to make every catch. Considering Metcalf fell to the bottom of the 2nd I dont know how anyone could take Mims before the 3rd round. How is this the consensus? I literally have watched no NFLN and haven’t ready any reports, so I don’t know w...

Trying to figure out why the board is down on Higgins so much? Some help?
Not sure just like I couldn't understand why it was previously so high on Mims.

Higgins tape is very good and he is 6'4.

Re: 2020 Positional Draft Talk - WR

Like Higgins - doubt he lasts - looking at mocks it seems packers will have to move up to around 20 to get 1 of the 5 top wrs.

Re: 2020 Positional Draft Talk - WR

Reagor reminds me of Cobb.

I would prefer Higgins at 30 if both are available.

Re: 2020 Positional Draft Talk - ILB

Firstly not sure how AV is calculated - is it subjective - there would need to be some form of subjectivity to the calculation. I posted the definitions, above. Also, that is why I think CareerAV is a better measure, even if it is still subjective. Yuh - I think it should be limited to the three be...

Re: 2020 Positional Draft Talk - ILB

This way of grading who is better at drafting is silly. Firstly not sure how AV is calculated - is it subjective - there would need to be some form of subjectivity to the calculation. Secondly a more accurate way using AV would likely to be to use the top two or three AV scores for drafted players e...

Are there examples of college safeties or edge rushers who successfully transitioned to NFL 2nd level linebackers and had good careers?
Mark Barron? Not straight out of college a later transition.

Re: All the draft prospect game tape you'll ever need

As mentioned in other threads not a big Mims fan - thoughts similar to Yoho.
Also don't like that separation he does get on tape often is preceded by clear push offs. NFL officiating is stricter on this.

Re: go pak go Post FA Mock Version 2.0

Higgins looks more agile (quicker feet) on tape than Pittman. Also uses his body better. Pittman moves heavy whilst Higgins has lighter feet.
Just my observations guess we will just have to wait and see.

Re: go pak go Post FA Mock Version 2.0

Michael Pittman is so much better than Higgins. His speed is no joke. I actually was in love with drafting Pittman before the combine because most mocks I saw him were largely Day 3. Now he's probably a top 2 round guy. I just don't think it makes sense for us to get another "that type" f...

Re: go pak go Post FA Mock Version 2.0

WR #2 - #6 on our roster is literally all Higgins type players. Why would we need another one? Agreed. I like Michael Pittman better than Higgins, anyway, even if we were to go after the exact same guy we have 3 of already. I don't see any reason why Higgins would be better than what we have, espec...

Re: go pak go Post FA Mock Version 2.0

Who do you like in this draft, bud fox? Mocks at the moment we won't have a shot at Jeudy, Lamb or Ruggs. I think Higgins or Jefferson at 30 would be better than Mims. WR #2 - #6 on our roster is literally all Higgins type players. Why would we need another one? Because Higgins should be better tha...

Re: 2020 Positional Draft Talk - ILB

Yeah after the Kirksey signing I don't see using much draft capital on the position.

A later round pick up from 4 onwards would make sense.
