He catches with his hands and I think he can win at the LOS and has good instincts in the middle to help move the chains. So at 85 that's more than enough.

Separation at the LOS - Senior Bowl reps :23 1:34
Separation over the middle (think 3rd and 6) :58
Ball is late, fights for the ball, TD 3:32
Red zone reps...more than enough window for an NFL QB
I guess I have to look at that and tell myself he is not a true WR so maybe the profile cannot be compared well against those guys. That is pretty ugly, though.

Seems to be some thought that he'll play some RB. Think Ty Montgomery, not Cobb. Not as fast, bigger, but will break more tackles than some of the other smaller WRs in the draft. Will wait and hear what the Packers actually have to say though.

Pretty much have to expect an upgraded version of Ervin, I think.

Seems like Ty Montgomery but with route running skills and hands, and/or Tyler Ervin with more strength and durability?

I could see him as an insta-fit to fill the Tyler Ervin role, and to take over as punt returner.
If he can bring our return game alive and help us remain versatile on O, that's a winning pick.

So just like that, we now have Stokes and Rodgers who can be great candidates for punt and kick returner.

Rodgers is a natural hands catcher - short arms, but he can catch and fight for the ball. I never thought Montgomery looked comfortable catching the ball.

Rodgers, like Cobb, will probably end up being our emergency QB too.
I'm liking the pick more and more.

Nice! 'Like the dynamic skill-set and quickness, could really shine in MLF's offense.
Pro days generally are .1 seconds faster than combine times right?
It used to be Pro Days were faster. I don't know if that still holds. He doesn't lack speed or quickness on tape and his shuttle times show that too.
He's not elite but he's not Jarrett Boykin either.

Sure seems committed. Coming off ACL injury he rehabbed 3 times a day and even spent his own money for more. Came back in 5 months. Seems like a good kid.
