!!! POSSIBLE RULES CHANGE !!!

Last season, and idea was floated to make the special teams eligible as a unit.

Currently only the offensive line can be picked as a candidate as a unit, the idea being it's super hard to stand out as an individual OL.

What do y'all think?
Yes,

I also think for preseason games, we could get 2 picks. Maybe starting Thursday we can pick a second or something, give everyone a good chance to get their first picks in
Interesting idea. Two picks per person for preseason games, makes some sense, since it's a total crapshoot who plays and how much.

I'm not changing the rules for this week, it's short as is, but we could try that for the next two.

Sounds like fun. Seems like you have to get your picks in early to get the best chances.

I'm going to go with Devote Wyatt.

You know the vets are getting little work.

Yoop's at the :toke: again... ;)

I used to pick first every week and have never won this thing, so the obvious choices are rarely the best.

Nope, I'm on holiday and it would be annoying to keep track of a lot of picks using the phone. 8-)

Smoking is hazardous to your health

imo 2nd tier players are the best, and the preferred group to chose from, and the hotties from that group in the prior games go fast, at least thats how it seems to me, so when Amish reasoned that ya need to pick as soon as possible, I agreed, and no medicinal medicine was required to form my opinion :rotf:

I would go with Slaton. Thought he was very impressive with a lot of pressures.

Next week I'm going to pick a player who actually plays.

I thought Goodson and the O-Line had nice games.

Goodson has some explosiveness in his game and showed decent vision. He’s gonna get himself killed, though, if he continues to run upright. He got leveled a couple times that were cringe worthy. The O-Line also provided some nice running lanes and the pass blocking was sufficient for a makeshift group. Clearly some good coaching going on there.

That said, my vote is going to someone who gave me a surprise: Juwann Winfree.

Winfree showed good route running, good hands, and surprising grit in battling for the contested ball. He also provided some really good blocking on some runs that sprung decent gains. Remember, Winfree isn’t exactly a giant out there but he was in there mixing it up with OLBs and DEs when the playcall demanded it and he did it well. Three-for-three when targeted and made some tough catches, too.

Juwann Winfree for me.

OL for me.

Outside of Jake Hansen, I thought they held up really well. Time for the QB’s, 141 rushing yards.

Frankly like that Hansen struggled and Tom looked significantly better, progress made on pecking order IMO.

I’m gunna make a prediction too that either Bak or Elgton start week 1.
