Tonyan, Jenkins, Watson Off PUP
Tonyan, Jenkins and Watson are no longer on PUP
I dod not expect Jenkins to come off for a few weeks, so this is triple good news

Excellent news!
The Packers lunatic fringe is more visible because of sheer numbers. The Packers have one of the largest fan bases in all of sports. If the fringe percentage is the same as with other teams, then we end up with larger volumes of nut jobs. - JustJeff
this mean jenkins and tonyan may be ready for week one?? I did not expect that for Jenkins.

They can't put him back on PUP. They can put him in IR and then bring him back after 4 weeks, however they can only bring 8 players per season back from IR. I seriously doubt if they IR him unless he has a setback.
If he is not quite ready on opening day, they can just let him watch from the sidelines in street clothes. This should not surprise anyone for 1 or 2 weeks.
Note that Hill is still on PUP even though he was regarded as most ready to come off PUP. My guess is that they are making room on the 53 for Goodson.

Awesome news. Jenkins at tackle to start the season is a real shot in the arm.
Looking forward to seeing Watson.

The boys are back... Well some and Jenkins is a freak love that dude
Awesome, huge break for us. Other than Lewis being better purely as a blocker, Tonyan is way better than the next guy we have at TE. Jenkins solidifies our OL, which overall looked pretty good this past Friday but Hansen was a clear weak spot at RG and should flat-out not be starting Guard.
And of course the sooner Watson gets on the field, starts learning in live action, and develops chemistry with Rodgers, the better. I was initially thinking we should PUP and ease him in but changed my mind, young guys need to get action as soon as possible.

I fully believe if they didn't think he's ready that they would push this esp with how GB handles injury.TheSkeptic wrote: ↑14 Aug 2022 17:27They can't put him back on PUP. I'll bet unless a set back these fellas are full go great news
Jenkins is a straight up pro. Wanted us to draft Watson but I see him struggling given the injury early. He will have to be special to contribute in the first half of the season.
This is really good news. Hopefully watson takes off.

Let's hope Bakh is next. Might be a dream.
Also note that any of these players HAVE to be on the initial 53 now. You cannot have a player start the season on IR and have them return. They must be on the initial 53 and then can go on IR in Week 2 to be eligible for "designation to return"TheSkeptic wrote: ↑14 Aug 2022 17:27They can't put him back on PUP. This is really promising news. Looks like our offense is starting to get some stars back. Jenkins at the least really puts this offensive line in a better position. Our right side just improved significantly.
