I will say, even I was convinced, but I asked this question sometime last week... I wonder if Rodgers even understands what comes out of his mouth sometimes...

Who are the top receivers? If you are Rodgers, you can't say it's Allen Lazard... and Randall Cobb... and Sammy Watkins, oh, and Juwann Winfree. At some point if Winfree wasn't in that top group (and it should have been pretty clear all along that he wasn't), you have to move on to secondary considerations like long-term potential, etc. Still think Winfree could stick around and be a guy maybe even next season, but the numbers game was always stacked against him this year.

seems like the FO thinks Winfree is at his ceiling, and they just don't have the room to keep him and think Touri has more upside, after the KC game it seems a valid point.

Only keeping 5 DL, makes sense, but liked the two guys there, Heflin and Slayton. I'd try to get both to the PS.

Kind of forgot about Jonathan Ford, GM's really tend to keep draft picks if it's close.

He really did nothing to earn it, though. Of the 7th-round picks, I would have dubbed him least likely to make it. I think he still will be released.

I saw a few reports of him basically getting ragdolled and man-handled trying to get past the jammers in practice. Knocked out of bounds and such.

Did not expect Heflin, Winfree or Goodson to get cut. Hope they make it to the PS, but I think Goodson is gone and probably Winfree too. I don't like keeping Rodgers over Winfree. Don't like keeping Reed over either Slayton or Heflin but at least those 2 will likely make it to the PS

I brought up Tyler Goodson being a suprrise cut a lot but also stated he won't because he played too well during camp and PS.

But man...I was wrong on an awful lot.

looking like we may carry an extra OL the way this is shaping up. Not surprising if Jenkins and Bakh need extra time.
