The WRs we have on the field are literally awful at this point. Maybe they wont be by november, but they are right now. We better remember we have AJ Dillon on the roster.
I'm not going to call Watson awful yet, just because of that one play. But hard to argue with you here.

Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
That first drive is why AR normally requires WR to gain his trust. And tons of people rag on him for it. Then when he gives them opportunities they F it up.

im not saying he is going to be literally awful. Im just saying this is the first this group has been together. This is the first time two of starters have stepped foot on the field of a real NFL game, and sammy Watkins has been hurt last several years....just saying...i expect a mess. Better be able to ram the rock

it was well worth the shot and a heluva playcall.
Lights were just too bright for the kid
That is my point. Watson was hurt most of camp, has not gained AR's trust, but AR gives him a shot at a TD and he chokes. Exactly why AR is (or has been) so insistent on young players earning trust first. And Doubs with a bad read, too.
Timing ... Rodgers was already being tackled when he got open
Yes that is what he is referencing.

If he makes that catch, wow. What a confidence booster it would have been. Great, great opening play call there.
