Well I'm winning it this week! But I can't vote for Jones. So I'll go with Lazard. His impact was felt in this game.
RIP JustJeff
Aaron Jones was a beast but he’s too easy a pick for this contest. I’m going with the unheralded guy - Sammy Watkins. Came up big in big spots.

I too think we're not following the spirit of Here's Johnny. Guys like Lowry and even Preston weren't picked. Jonesy had a great game but I think we all expect him to do that if he gets his touches.
I'll go with Cobb because he made some clutch catches especially the 3rd and 8 which setup that clinching score in the first half.

I was at the game, and it always looks different than what the TV let's you see.
I would go with Sammy Watkins.
The 'go away Johnny' award would go to the OL for pass blocking. Rodgers had little time or room to throw. Their run blocking was good - but a lot of that credit goes to the Aaron Jones who looked a little extra elusive out there.
If AR had a cleaner pocket, I think Sammy has 3 or 4 more catches and 50 to 60 more yards. He was getting good separation out there.

We won this game on the legs of Aaron Jones, tack on his receiving yrds and he tops 170 yrds of production, he easily gets my vote.
mvp game, in the spirit of this contest it shouldn't matter who the player is, a special performance should still win this

Yeah, Jones, I guess. Wanted to go OL with how well we produced on the ground, but Nijman was abused pretty bad in pass pro early in the game.
Read More. Post Less.
Jones looked nowhere near as explosive last year as he is this year.
That dude is doing some Matrix sh*t right now. Definitely Aaron Jones.

Jones.
I totally get that the point is to reward the biggest surprise player, not (necessarily) the best player of the game, but Jones never really got going quite like this at any point last season. I chalk it up more to OL than Jones, but I still lowered my expectations a bit. And that he did it behind what's still a patchwork OL, even with Jenkins back, quite impressive.
Also, the OP rules state that star players are only likely to win if they do something "historic." Jones finished the game with an insane 8.8 yards per carry. Under the same circumstances, Dillon actually had three more carries but accumulated well under half as many yards for 3.4 a clip.
Jones was insanely good, at a level that even a star player like him can (and IMO should) win this week.

I'll vote for Jones too. His legs carried the night.
I missed submitting my candidate because I was in Phoenix all week. My Sweet Adeline chorus was competing in the SA International convention and we placed 5th out of 26! Coming home on time to watch the Pack beat the Bears made the whole week complete.
