My enthusiasm from this post is slowly drainingYoHoChecko wrote: ↑07 Jul 2020 19:46There are seven picks before I pick again, but after that, I have 6 of the final 12 picks.
Sitting out a draft is kind of sad. Hopefully Trudge will show up so we can get this thing kicked off and done with so the sadness disappears. I don't get new shiny objects and hopes in form of rookies, but hoping these two can terrorize all of you in the near future!

And I'm hoping they disappoint, given that they used to be mine, haha. Though after my trade with MadCity, I did end up with pick 5, a 2021 1st, a 2021 2nd, a move up from 20 to 19, and a move back from 30 to 33 for Barkley, so that does make me feel better.Packfntk wrote: ↑08 Jul 2020 15:03Sitting out a draft is kind of sad. We've been on the clock with Trudge for 20 hours now. Four more and we'll figure out a way to move forward. I figure we can just give him Cole Kmet, which is a nice pick, but a Bear, and call it a day, but I suppose I'm open to suggestions as to how to move. Usually we have rules spelled out but I didn't do that this year, primarily because the old forum was down so copy/pasting old posts that included the rules wasn't an option.

ANNNNND We're back! Though having Shenault come off the board, I'd rather have waited 4 hours and given Trudge Kmet
Yeah, Shenault was good value. Offered Trudge a future pick for this spot to take him, but not surprised he just made the pick himself.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑08 Jul 2020 15:21ANNNNND We're back! Though having Shenault come off the board, I'd rather have waited 4 hours and given Trudge Kmet

The next six picks only involve 3 pickers, so if Waldo, Backthepack, and 23 all show up, this could leap forward quickly... I may or may not mention that because I pick right after that trio has a pair of picks apiece.

If I hadn't made the trade with MadCity, Shenault would have been my pick at 17, 19 or 20, for sure. Gibson (my pick) was one spot ahead of him on my draft board and I needed a RB in my haul anyway.NCF wrote: ↑08 Jul 2020 15:32Yeah, Shenault was good value. Spoke too soon.
Have one more guy I really like. If anyone wants to trade a 3rd and you like someone on my roster (Not the Mahomes Type ), hit me up!

Yeah, I have a strong board left, too, but no one worth trading up for. Happy to sit and wait until 36. Hoping to sneak a few as UDFA's.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑08 Jul 2020 22:34I have 7 more guys I really like, and only 6 picks!
But I guess I could pass one of them up for Stefon Diggs or Keenan Allen

I love Claypool, but I think the last three picks were in the right order. The Pittsburgh fit, I question a little. I mildly tried trading up for Shenault, but then I thought Hamler was a really nice pick. I think he has a chance to do really well in that offense and it will not surprise me, at all, if he ends up outplaying either one of the more heralded receivers.

I was hoping Chase Claypool was around at pick 33 so I could extort... um, I mean trade the pick to you for a future 3rd or a bench warmer
