Its not like Dallas is world beaters. We could actually win this game. I strangely wouldnt hate McCarthy getting a last laugh though. He became a punching bag in GB but hes a good dude.

Also dont want to draft mid round when we have no shot to win anything. Would rather waste a premium pick on someone who will help in 3 years.

I would so much rather finish strong and see a ton of upside on our young WR’s and OL, guys like Wyatt and Walker, the CB’s play dominant.

If, big if, we show a lot of young potential, that would be worth so much more than the draft differential from 15 to 8.

you can see a ton of upside in those guys and still get a premium draft pick who can help us in 3 years.

If you want upside, you need to get a string of losses out of the system first. A win in Dallas isn't providing upside.

Upside is ending the year winning 3 out of 4 games or 4 out of 5 games with Jordan Love taking snaps at QB.

Personally I just watch the game hoping for young guys to stand out and find weird ways to lose until again, we have new blood to cheer for.

I'd rather win, within reason.

Gunna be at the game Sunday, gunna stand and cheer for Mac, gunna root for a Packers win.

Honestly only 1.5 back from SF, I still wanna see some good football and I'm going keep hoping for wins and get to the playoffs. How fun would it be to go to MN and knock them out of the playoffs wild card weekend? I guess sorry if that makes me a bad fan. :P

I think you are underestimating how detrimental a 4-13 season would be. With Aaron at QB or with Love by the end, we'd be a complete dumpster fire, we wouldn't have a QB going forward, we wouldn't have a promising young OL, our WR''s still wouldn't be showing anything, our D would be playing much worse. Our 'premium' pick would be going to a QB, not helping our WR's, OL, or D.

I just don't think we can be that awful for a whole year, but think, oh, we still have a ton of talent on this team, Love is the QB of the future, we can just take BPA at pick 6 and just add this guy to our talented team and be competing by 2024.4

Play well, get to 9-8 maybe, OL looks back to 2020 form, young WR's being productive, Love or Aaron playing well, D finishes the year on a very strong note. Throw in the 15th pick of the draft onto a young team that finished hot, we'd all be pretty damned excited about our future.

I'am with you a 110% nothing good comes from a 4-12 season except the draft slot which as we know has about a 50/50 chance of success, and losing like that can have a snowball affect, some of us older guys saw that snowball for 2 decades.

It seems popular these days to tank for draft status, I wouldn't remain a fan of a team that did something like that this early in the season if ever.

I to want to see players keep improving, this OL has a ways to go, but the talent seems to be pretty good, they need to build chemistry for next year, same with receivers, lbers, etc.

more then likely Rodgers will return next year, Putting in Love though some would help the coaches and GM decide if he'll ever have what it takes, course getting Rodgers off the field un injured would probably mean calling in the WI. National Guard.

either way, this team has to fight tooth and nail, I'd hate to see players giving up.

I agree. Some of the stories towards the end about the massages and time off tainted his image a bit, but I always respected his work ethic. He's an old school football guy. Coaches like McVay and those of his ilk (how a 35 year old can have a "coaching tree" is beyond me) show up every so often, disrupt the league for a short time with all of their innovation. And when that happens, people seem to write off guys like Mac as old and washed up. But I remain convinced that the "old" guys have hung around as long as they have for good reason. So, obviously I want the Packers to win but if Mac gets the W, I'd be less pissed than if someone else were the coach.

The problem is you havent joined reality yet. This is a 3-6 football team that just lost to the worst team in the league and had multiple players die for the year. 9-8 (winning season) is fantasy land. thats only two more losses the rest of the way with the Cowboys, Titans, and Eagles coming up. Not happening.

For those who want to see Love sooner rather than later then losing the next few games will expedite his appearance. As long as we are mathematically in the WC hunt MLF will continue to start Rodgers.

You will be able to knock me over with a feather if we upset Dallas, especially after some of the injuries we sustained last Sunday.

I'm sure this won't sit well with some of you but I would have no problem if we continue to lose. We do not have a roster that will win any playoff games this year let alone a SB so this season is basically over. I suppose winning games would be nice for our and the team's collective psyche but being able to draft high in each round this spring will enable us to get some really nice football players. An infusion of difference makers on both sides of the ball is what will turn this franchise around.

you probably expect I disagree with your reasoning, on several fronts at least  , 1. there is no guarantee that picking top 10 or even top 5 will produce a great player and 2. I don't understand why people think this team is so void of talent, we are injured with OL, same even at WR, obviously talent could be added at both position, but increased health at either one would have helped us this year, mostly OL
3. most fans want to win, no matter what the record, and Winning helps to motivate players to come back next year with higher hopes of success, being a fan, rooting for the team, can't hinge on playoff asperations, there are great examples available in our team history where if that where the case this team would have devolved countless times,

I'm now feeling that the Dallas defense will take over the game. Another subpar offensive performance. We have no positive consistency on offense.

We want a top 6 pick. Maybe Gute will draft a good WR.
Sitting at 8 now. After the next 3 games, probably better than that.
We'll need a left tackle before another WR...
And possibly a QB. But at least there is time before the offseason to find out if Love is that QB.

Keep dreaming, it's not a long shot, it's a impossible shot, You and everyone here saw what happens when Love is pressured, he becomes flustered, can't navigate the pocket, quits reading progressions, and either runs or throws into coverage, and that was in PS games, now maybe he has tamed some of that erratic behavior with scout team work, but the odds are high he hasn't.

we've had a easy excuse to use to sit Rodgers and start Love (thumb) but the coaches havn't done so yet, till they do my impression is they know Love wont do well, people look at how terrible Rodgers has looked and automatically think LOve will be better, and simply refuse to realize why Rodgers looks so terrible, other then he's now a washed up old QB.

If I thought Love could be better I'd support the switch, but it goes against what I saw 3 months ago when he obviously wasn't.
