Few thoughts

Fun win. With the NFC not very deep and the NFL giving us 3 WC teams now, we have a chance. No need to push for Love to play anymore. In a strange way, I could see everyone needing to jump ship before we are invited back on for a fun ride to the Super Bowl. I mean why not. Nobody is that good.

Next, I understand why many predicted a loss. Seriously, we just lost to the lions and the redskins, predicting a loss is understandable, but I think some forgot how mediocre the cowboys are. Dak hadn’t looked great since he’d been back, zeke out, McCarthy factor. This was a game Rodgers was going to show juice for. The packers did look broken before this game, but the cowboys for sure were the kind of team who could out stupid us and give us the win.

Finally, with the above in mind…it was awesome to FEEL the momentum after we went down two scores. Lambeau seemed loud! I am happy how we scrapped back, it was cool.
But….

I mean cmon this team still has major problems the win is hiding. Rodgers showing up the coach again blessing him out at end of regulation?? That’s how McCarthy lost all respect. Rodgers now doing that to Lafleur. Lafleur should scream back one day instead of lookin like a beaten puppy.
Amari still returning punts?? That gonna happen all year??
Two plays in a minute on the final two minute drill??

I mean cmon, there is just so many “easy” things this team doesn’t do well at all. These things led to lots of losses. Luckily tonight we used some grit, and our opponents being dumber to get a home win. Props.
I Do Not Hate Matt Lafleur

So a few GameDay changes led to me being assigned to Erin Andrews all day on the cowboys sideline. Was fun to watch that roller coaster of emotions frist hand up close! Very fun game

We did not win, the Cowboys lost. I was there and it was so cool to see my team winning in overtime while being among Cowboys fans that had most of the laughs but not the last. But that said, the Cowboys were up two scores at the beginning of 4th and that after Prescott’s early INTs that were complete game changers. So I do not believe yet this was a turn around win, but strangers things have happened.

people wonder why we looked so aggressive today versus past games, when ya complete a long pass or two or 3, everything else becomes easier, defenses have to play aware of that ability, can't just load the box, success builds emotion, players try harder.

this was a great game, great win, Watsons TD catch set the tone, great to see him redeem himself

people just can't enjoy a win, have to cretic the team and point out that if not for Rudy Fords interceptions we'd have lost, never mind that we turned the ball over to, in almost every game turnovers change the course of games, yet when we finally have that go away people complain about something else, Jones and Dillon had some great runs, and receivers caught passes, defense played stout, we won, be happy

Yeah. Without Watson this game is a blowout.

Oh, the hardship...

Your boss probably heard about how you cussed her for obstructing the camera cart last time out. They knew you'd keep her in line. :aok:

To each their own but coming back from 14 down in the 4th qtr is a huge accomplishment. It takes a complete team effort. Yeah, you can argue the Cowboys didn't take advantage of their opportunities but that doesn't diminish the fact the Packers did.

We are playing with house money. Honestly I was okay with SF winning. I don't want the 7th WC team to be 9-8.

If we can find a way to get to 10 wins, we should feel very good about our chances in January. It will mean we likely beat some really good teams. Go stack some wins and then shock the world in Philly giving them their first loss.

And if we lose two games...we get the rebuild to look to forward to. Right now we are just playing with house money. Kind of fun actually!

I didn't get to see most of the first quarter or his early 2 drops, I thought the net works had a contractural agreement to show the game scheduled, guess not, after those drops receivers seemed to catch balls thrown to them, thats what it takes, we didn't see that earlier.

simply keeping MVS and our record would be much better.

Yeah, like a playoff atmosphere. An unlikely win over a rival.

I seriously think the Packers grew up a lot today. Something we’ve been waiting for. I don’t know if we can still overcome injuries. There’ve been so many. But they scratched and clawed out a win. And now they have a weapon at WR they haven’t had all year.

Game ball for Watson, definitely. He made the difference. And Aaron Rodgers threw some good passes!
Were there any injuries today?
Wyatt?
I thought he returned? Unless he got injured again later.

I highly suggest going to packers.com and watching AR's post game presser. Will answer a lot of questions.
Speaking of questions, was curious what you thought of the “bust” Watson today?
He can run fast and still can't catch

We imposed our will. We ran the damn ball -- even when Dallas loaded the box!! -- and it worked. RDF is gonna cope and act like finally the pass worked and that's the reason why we won. Rodgers threw it 6 times in Q1, and like 10 times total in the first half.

Rodgers finally stuck with the run and threw to WRs he "dOeSn'T tRuSt" (Watson). I fully expect he will be back on his Rex Grossman BS ("F it, I'm goin deeeeeeep!") and play backyard 'ball the rest of the year while laughing his way to the bank with highest-paid-ever checks.

We will see. I absolutely believe that this team could go the distance if we keep playing like we just did. I doubt we will, in which case, I rather have the higher draft pick, but it would be nice to be proven wrong.

It felt like the old Packers at Lambeau yesterday. The Packer fans never gave up.....the energy in the stands was stellar!
It's still On Any Given Sunday in the NFL.

I thought the crowd and energy seemed loud too but Rodgers definitely disagreed. He said the fans didn't bring it consistently yesterday.

It's amazing what this offense can do when we put the ball in our best player's hands. Aaron Jones is an absolute freak. Our success is directly tied to him as a franchise. Has been for the last 3 seasons.

Watson had to prove he can catch the ball, he did today so Rodgers threw it to him again, in all Watson ended up with 4 catches on 8 targeted throws, or 50% completion ratio, same as MVS, thing is like MVS he had success deep, that changes how DC scheme up to cover the pass.

Rodgers was upset with Lafluer for not calling a run play, it's not JUST Rodgers wanting to pass the ball, and if you pound Jones to much he may break, then what? Dillon is a big decline from Jones, he's slower to the crease ( gap) and easier to defend, passing is what helps us to run.

going deep is what kept us in this game.

Beating the Cowboys will never, ever get old for me.

Seeing Christian Watson have the type of performance that gives hope for the future was glorious.

Watching Dallas throw the ball 46 times for just 265 yards and not constantly running the ball while up 14 points late despite gashing the Pack in the run game (27 carries for 153 yards by the running backs) was a fresh reminder to all the sentimental fans why Mike McCarthy got fired in Green Bay and why he will finish his long coaching career with just one trip to the Super Bowl.

Yesterday, McCarthy led a more talented, healthier, well-rested (coming off a bye), and favored team to a loss against the reeling, depleted, and ripe for another defeat Packers. Just brutal for Cowboys' fans and so sweet for those of us who despise the Cowboys.

Seeing Dallas exposed as a fraud despite coming in with a 6-2 record is by far the most satisfying outcome of the 2022 season to date.
