Anyway…

I’m actually a little curious if the Packers training staff, notoriously conservative, gives Rodgers the “all-clear” this week.

If the ribs aren't broken and there is no lung issue, it will be up to AR.

This training staff never leaves it solely up to the player. If there is traumatic internal bruising, for example, there’s potential for further damage and long term complications.

As I said, I’m curious which direction they go.

I think it's probably time we introduce da bares to their new owner.

I'm surprised we aren't #1. It drives me crazy how many times we waste time outs because the play clock is approaching zero.

Just by a quick eyeball test, I don't really see any correlation between good and bad offenses there.

play clock is a pet peeve of Huddle forum members, I think it has to do with having a high scoring offense and a attempt a burning game clock with having a lead, as well as Rodgers trying to out think a defense, it's cost us a few untimely time outs over the years, which is easy to see, whats unseen are the benefits it's provided, which I'am sure it has, Rodgers has been very good at getting a defense to change coverages, creating mis matches, I think the angst over it is over blown myself.

Actually Rodgers' pre-snap reads (particularly on RPO's) have been off a lot this year. The benefits just aren't happening regularly for whatever reason.

Regardless, the issue seems to be LaFleur getting the play in slow sometimes, his system's ridiculously long play verbiage, and Rodgers staring too long at the defense. Considering this happened under MM, too... I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'...

Hilarious how Rudy is massively outperforming two first rounders for 2019.

I think the problem people here have with the late clock is twofold. One is they often break the huddle with less then 10 seconds on the clock. Second is we never change it up. We'll have two consecutive 3 and outs but come back and do the same thing. Other teams quick snap just to keep the defense off guard. We only do it to get a free play.

That and the timeouts we have to take, but I think that has been better lately.

My issue with our clock management primarily revolves around using timeouts, not allowing enough pre-snap motion and allowing the opposing defenders to time the snap count because they know it's always going to be snapped with 0 seconds left.

Imagine if he would have caught the would-be 75 yard TD in the opener. Or the two drops against Dallas.
