From Lambeau to Lombardi, Holmgren, McCarthy and LaFleur and from Starr to Favre, Rodgers and now Jordan Love we’re talking Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers football. This Packers Forum is the place to talk NFL football and everything Packers. So, pull up a keyboard, make yourself at home and let’s talk some Packers football.
AFC: KC
NFC: some team that will get shredded by KC.
I can honestly say I hope the Vikings make it to the SuperBowl.
Because we all know the Vikings can't beat such a team as the Chiefs or the Bills.
lol. These fellas are some haters raptor.
Or just close neighbors who have witnessed the Vikes climb the ladder of despair to many times in the past to expect them to find the Ladder of success now.
Personally, if where out of it, along with my cinderella fav. Detroit Lions, why not root for the Vikes, imo a stronger North, makes a stronger GB, it's time for the North to prevail as the best div. in the league again, if ya want tough hard nosed football, then ya need to play more tough hard fought games in your own division.
we all like the fact that WE OWN Chicago, but thats just something to brag about, pounding the weakling Bears doesn't help ya to be play off teams, it just builds a false confidence that the playoff teams you will face will be the push overs like the Bears where, imo the team plays according to competition, and the north has been a cake walk for the Packers for most of the last 30 years.

I won’t be pulling for the vikings
say it aint so J, say it aint so
I'am actually not sure why I feel kindred spirit to the other teams in our division, possibly because I've been close friends with fans of all 3 teams over the years, I pointed out how dismal it's been for Lions fans, basically same for Chicago, and the Vikes have had the prom door slammed in there face every time they've gotten a invite, when where out of it I'd just as soon want one of them to win then anyone else, keep the trophy in the North, just my opinion.
Vikings sold T-shirts of an X-ray pic of Rodgers's broken collarbone. They made a tribute video to Anthony Barr when he left, and the first play they showed was the one where he injures Rodgers. They set off fireworks when we are bounced from the playoffs.
So no, I hope they suffer.

Might be unpopular but I hate the Vikings the most in the division. That’s right, I have less of a hate for the bears than the Vikings. That’s because I respect George Halas. And even though the bears have largely been a clown show for the last few decades, they helped build the league. Also I don’t like teams that play in domes. The packers and the bears aren’t scared of the cold.
Vikings may not suck on the field this year, in terms of being a franchise…they suck

Oh, I'd like to see the backup to that claim. That the Vikings organization sold those shirts.

Damn it, I was going to be apathetic with their chances, but now $%@# em. I forgot about that... Yep, will actively cheer against them,

I'm on record rooting for the Commanders in the 2022 playoffs assuming the Packers won't be there. If the Commanders can't get in ......... then I'm rooting for the Chiefs. Not the greatest situation to be in.

I’d be willing to bet an overwhelming majority of this forum will hate the Vikings more.
Is it proximity? Bear country is our neighbor too, or is it because Minny has been the more prominent foe?
I think it could be a bit of both, I know when I lived in Bear country back in the early to mid 80's I couldn't stand listening to Bears fans bragging when they beat us, and since we stunk I had to bite my tongue lots, ever since when I see one of those fellas I never neglect to ask how the other shoe taste

Yeah I think the fact that MN, SD, ND, Western WI, and IA have a TON of Packers fans (so we interact with each other a lot more) compared to Illinois, the complete vitriole that Vikings fans display towards Packers fans and that MN has had stretches of splitting the annual series or winning the division makes the rivalry more emotional.
At this point, the Packers/Bears to me is more about a respect thing because we are both such old franchises.
But yet again, this is coming from a Packers fan who has predominantly lived in Vikings country his whole life.
The Lions OFF is legit. In terms of points scored they are #6 in the league. A lot of their games this year could have gone the other way - single possession or play. I know a team is its record, but teams said that about the 2009 Packers without realizing how good the 2010 team could be...
I guess Vegas knew something...at least so far. The Lions could still Lion tho...

my friend was born and raised in ND, he said it was a hanging offense to not be a Vikings fan
