I have tried for several months to be more then just civil, I've complemented you and others, but it has not been reciprocated, in fact you yourself admonish the compliments, so don't twist this back at me, you, GPG and others are very good at giving civil put downs, sarcasms, I simply am not as educated in the fine art of debauchery as you guys are
letting bygones be bygones has to be a two way affair.

It was your statement, but then your subsequent posts just minutes after did not follow what you wanted. Take a critical look at what and how you post. Stop, reread, determine if it is likely to inflame or not, then post. I have had to do that on many occasions and sometimes still slip.

If you are willing to do that going forward, I definitely will. If you are willing to be less hostile in your posting, I am sure we will all follow suit.

it was the same thing when I said " ALOT" in the Jones thread, you and everyone went to extremes defending that you absolutely wanted Jones back, "BUT" only if certain parameters where met, so in reality "ALOT" of you weren't so absolutely sure that you wanted him back, now where you? yet you's guys ripped on me for 3 pages over the generic term for more then just 1 or two.
maybe I should have been more specific, OK, but alot wasn't far off, and when you add in your qualifiers it does set most of you apart from myself and a couple others, I took for granted as all of you should have that it would be roughly 10 to 12 mil. a year, so I hardly even mentioned contract dollars, or that we where tight against the cap, when are we not? every reason I gave to resign Jones had been met prior by some ( certainly more then 2 or 3 or 4) that it's not a good idea to sign RB's to 2nd contracts.

I and only a couple, and certainly not "ALOT" of posters where unequivocally all in on resigning Jones, but instead of giving me and the others a atti boy, APB and the whole lot of you defended that you wanted him if " this, that, or the other thing met with your approval" again don't rip the seat out of your trousers leaping of the fence

You're going to have Pro Rodgers views and not-so-pro-Rodgers views. Some folks believe he's the only way forward and still, others are ready to cut bait.

In almost no case is the other side going to change their mind to your way of thinking. There is no "wrong "way or "right" way to view this. Well, I for one do not want Yoop to leave the forum. I believe he can, and often does add good commentary to the discussion. I think there are many times when most of us could take it down a notch or two.
