2020 Dynasty League Discussion

Cheesy topics (like the Cheese Curds thread) go here. Topics that aren't Packer related will be moved here as well.

Mmmm.... cheese.

Yep! I am not married to it. Tuesday before week 1 or after week 1 works for me.
Would think the Tuesday before week 1 would be plenty of time.

I think I would be more likely to get behind something like cut to maybe 31 before week 1, then maybe down to the normal 29 after week 2 or something.

But whatever the majority wants I guess. Just as long as it if fair for everyone, doesn't really matter.

I vote for before week 1, I think we would be the only fantasy league in the country not to have cutdowns before week 1. Suck it up, use your knowledge and gut, and make the tough choices.

I very much disagree that we would be the only dynasty league in the country to do so. I like a tiered cut down.

Didn't mean to open the can of worms. Mostly just complaining. It's my fault the my entire 38-man roster is average and has no separation.

I'm fine with what we always do, but just know I am going to blow a couple of my choices.

Opt out players are not eligible for IR, apparently. FYI.

Is there a setting we can change for that? Or what are thoughts on it? Some teams will be hit harder than others. All of my other leagues have a plan in place for expanding/opening up IR for these guys.

I’m ok with roster expansion or tiered/delayed cuts if the majority wants them. Still hoping there is a Tuesday before the season starts

Was just looking at the guys I have "starred" for my "watch list" over the past several months or so for dynasty free agency and it's astonishing how many of them are on NCF's team right now.

Great minds think alike, I suppose.

As we generally sit middle of the pack.

I have noticed that going back to last year, too. Still angry I didn't move hard enough to get Ryan Finley, although it looks like that one is not going to work out... at least not in Cincy. I was very high on him last year, yet still convinced he would make it clear through to waivers. I almost took him in the 3rd-round, but went with Kahale Warring, instead (who I will probably release in a few weeks).

My point is, if you have a strong conviction, don't worry what value anyone else may assign to him, just make your move. I think you and I do that more than most.

Yep, get your guy no matter what, do not care what anyone else thinks. Also, throw offers to owners if you like a guy. You never know where different owners views are on certain players, (as I learned with Saquon the hard way). This is what makes fantasy football fun. Most of the owners in this league are willing to discuss most players.

You guys....

I just picked up a player from free agency because of positive reports out of training camp practice.

IT'S FOOTBALL SEASON

Going through my roster and making cuts. If anyone is interested in anyone on my roster, let me know. Some players can be had for late round picks if you want a shot at them before waivers, or other players for future picks! Have 7 left to cut!

Heart skipped a beat when I say Miles Sanders trending on twitter.

Glad it ended up not being a season ending injury.

I'd be interested in making a big trade for a QB.

I feel like I have a lot of young potential at WR and TE I could spare along with two 1st rounders and two 2nd rounders next year.
