Sorry to hear. That's not a healthy way to live my main man.
I know you know, but I'm gonna gently remind you anyways: The Packers will continue to make many decisions and there's 100 % chance that some of those decisions are different than what you would choose - but you can't ever let that make you "sick" figuratively or literally.
More unsolicited advice: Stop worrying about the cap. Complete waste of brain power.
Its out of your control. Talk about it all you like, jut don't get mad, sick, upset about it
Same message to all of the rabid Packerfans: You need to learn how to let go - The Packers are not your job.
When you finally embrace that reality - Its the most liberating realization ever.
My only job; the only one I am qualified for... is to watch and enjoy the Green Bay Packers. That's it
What a relief.
I truly appreciate @BSA's contributions and always take the time to read through his posts. There was always a feeling of familiarity to them, though, that I just couldn't put my finger on. I think you nailed it.
Me? I'm more of the Paul Allen type when it comes to fanhood. I take this &%$@ personal...

sounds like a happy ending anyway.
Yeah - I miss the old guy.
He shared so much about the history of the league and connected some dots I'd never thought about before. Good stuff

And GB wasn't even close to 300 in most games. Closest they got was 283 vs Detroit
Since these are " net yards" - I went looking to see if a bunch of sacks knocked GB below 300 in passing - but no go.
Looked at Football Outsiders- GB passing offense # 14 DVOA, AR was # 16 in QB DYAR and # 11 in yards per attempt.

I miss him too; he had a unique perspective.
I found it humorous how he always called receivers "dime-a-dozen" - which didn't sit well with some fans.

So, the question that I think of is whether this result (not throwing for 300+ yards even one time) is a result of scheme, roster, or something else. In this case the “something else” might be injuries or inconsistency at QB and/or the OLine.BSA wrote: ↑02 Mar 2023 19:44And GB wasn't even close to 300 in most games. I tend to believe that it was a real combination of many factors, most of which we’ve gone over in this forum.
1. Injuries to the OLine (at least in the first half of the season).
2. Injuries to the starting QB.
3. Youth and inexperience at WR and TE.
4. Underperforming players.
5. Scheme (placing unusually high priority on running game than passing game).
I tend to think that the only one that hampered out offense the entire season was #3. Part of that was real youthfulness/inexperience. Part of it was injuries slowing the improvement of the players. But the other points hampered the offense at differing points of the season.
I tend to think that 4 of those points will improve in the coming season. And I think they’ll jump significantly if we can score an experienced WR that will actually have consistent impact. The best way for our young WRs to grow is to have the savvy vet that can yield at least a handful of catches every game. That takes more pressure off them, especially Watson.
I expect our OLine will be healthier in 2023. So will our QB (whether Rodgers or Love). At least one of the underperformers is already gone. And the scheme will likely become more lively, if Watson and crew can step up. If Rodgers remains and starts, he might well do better. If Love starts, what he will lack in some ways will be compensated in other ways. (Yes, I am confident in him.)

How about all of these to some degree or another:
-Injuries to the OLine (at least in the first half of the season).
-Injuries to the starting QB.
-Youth and inexperience at WR and TE.
-Underperforming players including QB.
-Scheme

The scheme (LaCoach's scheme) was unable to react appropriately. And the half time adjustments if there were any, rarely worked. Sure there were a few bright spots, great wins, but overall it was an 'EIGHT and NINE' baby. 3rd place in the North / Central. The Green Bay Packers became the Green Bay 89ers.....a LupeTheFiasco special for the ages.
I think you meant...

Yeah that does look interesting. Also an ebook and wifi money are sort of aligned with his brand so good for him.BF004 wrote: ↑08 Mar 2023 16:37Seems kind of cool. Think I’ll give this an order.
