I guess I have never had a hard time waiting for the forum to load. Like max 2-3 seconds?

And I do not have a very nice modern laptop, gotta be pushing like 10 years old on this bad boy.

Do others have loading issues?

Improving the loading speed can only be done on your end. You'd have to turn off images in your user settings and maybe even turn off BBCode, too.

No, I get about 9-10 mbps at home and it's fine. It's the number of GIFs that seem to make the most difference.

your server is over loaded, you shouldn't have to wait at all if you have high speed internet access as I do, I mentioned this months ago.

there are size limits on most forums for exactly this reason, large GIF's take up band width, the more ya have stored the slower the response time

now I admit to not being a internet genius, these are things I've been told by those far smarter then I.

and therer is nothing wrong as some seem to think with my PC, when this forum is slow I close and go to another sight, Yahoo, or another and it loads instantly.

I have high speed internet, there is nothing wrong on my end, everything else loads up instantly, I have no GIF's or images stored.

The adult videos have slowed your computer down. Probably given your computer a virus or two. Call an IT guy to clean up the mess and reduce porn viewing.

Well for starters, we don't have a server, everything hosted and stored on bluehost. Secondly, the gifs aren't stored here (attachments, but the size is extremely small, only like 500 or so pics so far). The gifs are all just links to giphy.com.

My best guess if you are experiencing slow loads and you have fast internet, would be your computer (ram or video processer/graphics card) is very outdated.

If you are using Chrome, hit CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE and tab will open up an you can clear your browsing history and cache. That should speed you up some. Just don't delete cookies or site data, or you'll get logged out of all websites you are normally logged into.
