Rodgers decision poll
I wanna see if based on recent info we can predict #12’s upcoming decision due to swarm intelligence. So please, vote on what you think will happen, not what you want!
Does someone know another - bigger- poll about this somewhere else?

I think he will be a Jet.
I have been saying this since October of 2022. They make the most sense. They have always made the most sense ever since they started winning despite terrible QB play.

I am probably wrong and he gets traded BUT my gut says he just might walk away, voted retire.

we have 68 pages in the Rodgers thread with this same poll at the top of all 68 pages.
swarm intelligence, thats a good one
Whoops, seems like I never voted in the 68-page thread.Yoop wrote: ↑12 Mar 2023 13:45AhhhhGerman_Panzer wrote: ↑12 Mar 2023 13:27I wanna see if based on recent info we can predict #12’s upcoming decision due to swarm intelligence. So please, vote on what you think will happen, not what you want!

I guess that thread's a good reference what we thought at the time, the poll of this thread is last-minute predictions.
The big AR thread had almost the third of us thinking he'd return to the Packers. I have a feeling that has changed.
Retired 5%
Traded 65%
Packer 30%

I think he still overwhelmingly wants to play. Maybe not with the Jets. Maybe not with the Pack. But I’ll give Jets the greatest chance and make a little room for a team like the Rams. Yeah, that’s very unlikely. But stranger things…
Come on down and try some of our delicious green chili! Best in the world!
I think a lot of the folks have changed there vote in that 68 pager thread, probably do to the media changing our minds with so many conspiracy theory's , and more info from the Packers and the Jets, till Rodgers actually comments it's all rumor to me.salmar80 wrote: ↑12 Mar 2023 13:56Whoops, seems like I never voted in the 68-page thread.Yoop wrote: ↑12 Mar 2023 13:45AhhhhGerman_Panzer wrote: ↑12 Mar 2023 13:27I wanna see if based on recent info we can predict #12’s upcoming decision due to swarm intelligence. A lot of people changed their vote in my thread, I should have closed the poll earlier.
Initially, return to GB had slightly more votes, then people started switching to Trade after the Schefter tweets and has been in the lead by the current margin ever since. Retire had 1 vote from the beginning, but recently got another.

that was me last week, but I've changed my mind again, I may change it again later to day if I read another compelling viewpoint to switch, after all, I'am at the mercy of the talking headsLabrev wrote: ↑12 Mar 2023 14:29A lot of people changed their vote in my thread, I should have closed the poll earlier.

I think a lot of people switched because of recent news (Jets visit, Murphy interviews). And it makes sense. But Aaron knows all that too and he might be the guy to do the opposite to shock people or to separate himself from the ordinary. If he‘s just interested in another SB the Jets are the way to go anyway, but is he that „one-dimensional“?

Then trade him to the Jets for a conditional 3rd. If he plays, we get a third. If he retires, we get nothing. Either way, he is no longer our problem and he is a problem if that is his mindset.

Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
I changed my earlier vote. In the previous thread, I figured he would stay. Murphy's comments the other day seemingly all but confirm it (unless there is some hidden tactical reason to mislead that none of us have been able to think of yet).
For the record: it seems like a foregone conclusion at this point that Rodgers will be with another team, and said team will almost certainly be the Jets.
Carolina reportedly came calling, but after trading for #1 overall, we can safely assume they will be getting their guy via the draft. I could buy that there may be other teams with interest but I think NY will simply outbid whoever else tries to get him.
As for Rodgers, the Jets may not be his first choice (I believe the rumor that he prefers Vegas), but I think he can appreciate that it's a good fit for him, and I think they will ultimately give him what he wants most: the red-carpet treatment from his team, and endless adulation from the faithful.

We all know the real person who is an expert of what is going on people's minds (not what they say) lives in the upper peninsula of Michigan.
I voted retire but I have no idea. But that’s what Rodgers wanted right? As much press and speculation.
Regardless it can’t be an easy decision. He’s been with the best sports franchise his entire career. Now what.

Love is the answer…
Okay everyone stop using this thread and go back to Rodgers Watch 2023.

No way is he retiring on the same year as Brady. This public drama ultimately shows poorly on the legacy! At least
he hasn't insulted the fan base. I'd be happy with a player and a top 100 pick this year and one potentially next, and of course cap relief.
