"Packers people" = lovable losers, which is why I've always wanted more criminals/thugs on the roster. We need killers. We need winners. The operation needs to go global. When the tv audience goes global in January…the good ole boys melt. From the awe shucks coach, to the hippy qb, to the “good story” good ole boys scrubs like Lazard or Tonyan..you can pick whoever you want to blame and you will be right.
Packers choke when they leave Rodgers field in Chicago and play under the global bright lights of the NFL playoffs.

It is water over the dam. Rodgers is gone, 1 way or another.
Love might be an average NFL QB earning an average NFL QB salary and the Packers might win a SB with him - but probably won't.
Love might be a good NFL QB earning a good NFL QB salary and the Packers might win a SB with him - but probably won't.
Love might be another MVP QB earning a MVP salary and the Packers might win a SB with him - but probably won't.
Because the QB is neither the problem nor the solution. I do not see MLF growing a pair of balls now that Rodgers is gone. I do not see the recent Packers DC's as more than journeymen. Resigning Nixon is a great move but Crosby's leg is gone and I am afraid he will be back. To win a SB, the team either needs an unusually good roster (only possible when you have an experienced QB still on his rookie salary) or unusually good coaching that uses schemes that other teams are not built to deal with. For example if the whole league uses a 3-4 DL with 2 ILB's, run a 4-2-5. For example if the entire league is passing first, run the damn rock with 2 RB's in the backfield. And unfortunately the Packers team is middle of the road that almost every other team is built to compete against.

And on top of all that QB discussion, the 89ers season ticket prices hover around the league average.TheSkeptic wrote: ↑14 Mar 2023 05:40It is water over the dam. Rodgers is gone, 1 way or another.

I do find it funny Packers fans hate Rodgers for not being able to make a decision but don’t chastise Gutenbumst who can’t make a decision on what QB he wants. He’s gone back and forth on what he wants between Love and Rodgers at least 3 times now.
Cancelled by the forum elites.
It is amazing how few people want to hold bum bum accountable for this mess we are in. I’m looking forward to seeing how good he and Lafleur really are without Rodgers covering their sinslupedafiasco wrote: ↑14 Mar 2023 07:00I do find it funny Packers fans hate Rodgers for not being able to make a decision but don’t chastise Gutenbumst who can’t make a decision on what QB he wants. I Do Not Hate Matt Lafleur
spot on, Rodgers isn't the main reason we lose PO games, typically the defense can't hold a lead, receivers drop passes, the OL can't block, and the horrific special teams puts us in poor field position, the 100 yards of field position equaling 7 points never applied to the GB Packers till this last season.bud fox wrote: ↑13 Mar 2023 21:32When the stats show Rodgers outplayed the other qb, it isn't really a debate that the Packers were the worse team.
The ineptitude of our management and coaching staff is what primarily comes up in big games.
Rodgers has won a sb as a qb. Gute as gm no. Mlf as coach no.
well Rodgers is gone now, who will be this fan ships next scape goat?
I guess I don't get that read. I know I certainly view Brian's handling of all this to be a demerit on his resume. I understand why he did what he did, but if he can't squeak out good compensation from the Jets...I will absolutely be upset at Brian.Drj820 wrote: ↑14 Mar 2023 07:21It is amazing how few people want to hold bum bum accountable for this mess we are in. BG's resume is in the middle of the road for me. Done some good. Done some bad. Built some great squads but also had some terrible drafts.

I don't really see how Rodgers covered any sins last year. If anything he made them worse because he ignored open WR's in favor of throwing incompletions 50 yards down the field.Drj820 wrote: ↑14 Mar 2023 07:21It is amazing how few people want to hold bum bum accountable for this mess we are in. We'll see how Love does, but if he actually runs the offense efficiently while making some good deep throws when the opportunity is favorable, the Packers definitely have the roster to compete.
This conversation tangent is so helpful! I only wonder why it hasn't come up before...?
when people like you complain about Rodgers throwing deep last year, you scream ignorance, don't you realize that? when defenses continually lack respect for your ability to throw deep they concern themselves with covering all the first and second level zones, Rodgers and Lafleur where attempting to force the defense out of those coverages.Acrobat wrote: ↑14 Mar 2023 07:50I don't really see how Rodgers covered any sins last year. people are saying any ol &%$@ now, just mimicking whatever any ol blogger is saying, as though they know what there talking about, the offense Lafleur used last year was basically the same offense we have used since he was hired,

What kind of evidence (documentation, interviews, etc) do you have that proves that LaFleur was trying to force the defense out of those coverages?Yoop wrote: ↑14 Mar 2023 08:03when people like you complain about Rodgers throwing deep last year, you scream ignorance, don't you realize that? when defenses continually lack respect for your ability to throw deep they concern themselves with covering all the first and second level zones, Rodgers and Lafleur where attempting to force the defense out of those coverages.Acrobat wrote: ↑14 Mar 2023 07:50I don't really see how Rodgers covered any sins last year. Oh crap, you know about other conversations? Does this mean you're planning on derailing them too?
This exact conversation has gone on in countless other threads. That's the $%@# point.
17 freaking games last season, watch them with your eyes open and a clear mind, thats your problem Acrobat, unless someone writes something u can't understand what your watching,Acrobat wrote: ↑14 Mar 2023 08:05What kind of evidence (documentation, interviews, etc) do you have that proves that LaFleur was trying to force the defense out of those coverages?Yoop wrote: ↑14 Mar 2023 08:03when people like you complain about Rodgers throwing deep last year, you scream ignorance, don't you realize that? when defenses continually lack respect for your ability to throw deep they concern themselves with covering all the first and second level zones, Rodgers and Lafleur where attempting to force the defense out of those coverages.Acrobat wrote: ↑14 Mar 2023 07:50
