does it? it tells me the Jets need a big body receiver that wins contested balls mostly inside the hash marks in traffic, teaming him up with Wilson should give Rodgers some options

It tells me they want Aaron Rodgers to agree to come to the Jets
$11 million per puts him tied for 29th. His 50% guaranteed is a higher percent than Davante Adams.
Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."

you give Rodgers to much credit, quit believing everything you read from news sources, I bet the Jets had Lazard on there list just as a lot of other teams did, just as teams did with Scantling last year.
A salary dump on a starter a year after signing them... basically no compensation; a 5th round comp pick is just a year or maybe a round earlier than they'd get if he left next year.
I guess their cap is tighter than I noticed, but huh.
Bradbury got less overall, but more guaranteed and a shorter deal. At age 30, he's all about the for- sure money
Important note.
One thing not enough people talk about are the tradeoffs of guaranteed contracts. Contracts with more guarantees are going to be shorter and often have lower total figures and thus appear to be lower annually.
If players are looking to get more guarantees, they have to understand the tradeoffs that will take place during that transition.
