From Lambeau to Lombardi, Holmgren, McCarthy and LaFleur and from Starr to Favre, Rodgers and now Jordan Love we’re talking Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers football. This Packers Forum is the place to talk NFL football and everything Packers. So, pull up a keyboard, make yourself at home and let’s talk some Packers football.
There might not have been a list or demands, BUT it does sound like he made some suggestions.
Right.
Like his rejection of this was that there was no written list--he keeps joking about the paper or font. He says there was no "demands conditional to the trade" but that they discussed several players and he spoke passionately in favor of some of the guys reported to be on that list.
It's a foregone conclusion. Now we wait on the trade. I don't believe this needs to be done any time soon. It could be another month.

12 is hurting the Packers trade compensation with this talk
"Do the right thing"
Yeah.
Trade can commence as of 4 pm today. Let's hope now that this is public there's urgency; but it does hurt our negotiating position
We can still hold onto rodgers as long as we want, but it will just get uglier and uglier from this point forward and it will be the packers org looking like the bad guys
Rodgers saying “do the right thing” is the tone he wants out in the ethos

He’s no longer a Packer. Why would he hurt his future organization. We didn’t do anything right by Rodgers. No reason for him to have any allegiances here anymore with this &%$@ front office.
I don’t see how 12 is hurting the position of the pack toward a trade. He is only responsible to say that he will play. It’s all on the two team FOs to make the trade and set the value. Players don’t do that.
Come on down and try some of our delicious green chili! Best in the world!
re: "wish list" .... Denies making any demands, then says *if* asked about the named players (e.g. Lazard, Cobb, Lewis, etc.) that he would vouch for them.
So basically it's true. The Jets are obviously going to accommodate him, especially after his 2021 stuff about the GB not soliciting his input enough, and if he is vouching for those guys then yeah they are going to try to sign them.
For the most part he is quibbling over the idea that he made any hard demand for those players.

Ball is in Packers court to avoid a public relations nightmare like 2008. Get the trade done by the end of the week and everyone will move on.
I don't believe so. Packers want Rodgers to be a Jet. Jets want Rodgers to be a Jet. Rodgers wants Rodgers to be a Jet. Working on compensation package now. I don't see any PR nightmare or things like what happened in 2008. 2008 was a nightmare because no one was on the same page. Everyone seems to be on the same page right now.

Jet fan commentators getting the information right, Rodgers says. Consider the sources when information coming out, Rodgers also says.

Still tricky if both parties work hard and overbluff. But at least its now clear that Rodgers wants to get traded and we (this forum) got it days ahead with 90+%. Did he mention or imply that he does NOT want to play for GB? That‘d be a little twitch but not an insignificant one bc it could shift the leverage in negotiations.

I should rephrase. It could become a PR nightmare if it gets held up for too long to the point where Green Bay says "Sorry, but these trade terms aren't going to work for us", and then public back and forth starts coming out.
Anyway, if there were any doubt remaining, Rodgers took the opportunity to say his goodbyes to Green Bay and is looking ahead to playing for the Jets. It's just a question of the deal getting done by our brass and theirs.
