Great draft pick by Detroit.
I like Campbell better than I like Quay, so.... :idn:

I think Quay is fine and will be good. But I know Campbell will be.
Jack Campbell was one of my favorite players in this draft. I also loved Gonzales. Unfortunately we have two Georgia players that made those guys undraftable by us.

I mean if the Vikings don’t take Levis who takes him? This really is Jordan Love.

No.
I'm game, would be just like the Watson trade up, to an extent.

Whoever first bites at 42 and 78.
Waiting for Q Johnston?

Man, you guys are WAAAYYYY overpraising the Lions reaching crazy for an off-ball LB at pick 18.

They got an RB and LB with 2 top 18 picks, you could fill those spots with proven pro-bowlers for like $20M per year.

LVN is just one step to correcting this cap disaster created by our &%$@ GM. You can now look to move on from Preston a year from now and be confident in a young edge position group that isn’t overpaid.
how so, Gary will demand top money if he only gets 5 or 6 sacks.

I expected a edge rusher, I was not as high on Smith, or JSN over Murphy, but I don't think JSN is as raw as Gary, I think he will play pretty well in Gary's spot till Gary gets back.

both top OL where gone as well as the 3 best DL, I thought we may take a receiver, JSN was not my top guy at this spot, but I see the reason why.

JSN is the Ohio State WR. Lukas Van Ness, LVN is who we drafted.

Campbell was only a "reach" according to fan consensus boards. Mike Wahle explained very compellingly on Andy Herman's show how much fans were underrating the guy. After listening to that episode, not surprised NFL teams (at least one) valued him way more highly.

When you draft we'll multiple years and do well in FA and don't make bad contracts for your own guys, you can draft that way (same as Eagles did). But when your GM is a moron you can't do that.

Gotta respect their craft. Some teams always seem to be in the right spot, some seem to always be picking a spot or two too late.

The Seahawks now have the best CB and WR in this years draft class
