Sure. Why not!? One way or another, this TE position is getting fixed. MLF might finally be able to realize his vision on offense, and we night finally have a guy who'll throw to the TEs.

I don't think his on-field athleticism is as good as Musgrave's but he's a very solid all-around guy.

Seems very raw. Boom or bust pick.
Everything I read is the opposite. :idn:
Dominating at the FCS level doesn't mean a whole lot to me. He's a gifted athlete, that's for sure.
SDSU is now top tier FCS, same as NDSU and noone penalizes players coming from there.

LeRoy Butler made me smile when he told us before he announced the picks tonight how we are getting more help for Jordan Love.

FCS. South Dakota. So must be raw. duh.

And was recruited by Alabama and other schools, but elected to stay. FCS doesn't mean raw.
Say that 1 year ago exactly.

Kraft likes to "ferociously attack the man across from" him every snap

Coming from a small school def still scares some teams away, or makes players go later. This guy may have gone in the 1st if he had made that transfer to bama. Glad he stayed put.

Both TEs will because all TEs do. But the positive is they will be growing with the rest of the offense. They won't feel "behind" like they would have if they were drafted in 2021 or so.

this bro is in the media conference call talking about buying property 15 minutes outside the facility to set roots down for his future family.

He is READY to be here.

And turned away 6 figures from bigger schools to transfer there. Hope he has that mentality at his next contract negotiation with the Packers!

If this guy doesn't break the 3rd round curse, I don't know who will.

I think we all liked this kid, same with Musgrave, our TE position is set for years to come, hope there a couple of quick studies and can contribute this season :aok:

It is tough for TEs. They have to know the blocking scheme like an OT and the passing game like a WR. I always think they should focus on a dozen plays and get them up to speed. And expand the playbook later as the season unfolds. I think they can contribute as rookies, but we can't expect too much. I would work with Musgrave on receiving aspects and Kraft as a more rounded player.

Think if I had to choose a jersey to buy this year, Kraft might be an early favorite.
