From Lambeau to Lombardi, Holmgren, McCarthy and LaFleur and from Starr to Favre, Rodgers and now Jordan Love we’re talking Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers football. This Packers Forum is the place to talk NFL football and everything Packers. So, pull up a keyboard, make yourself at home and let’s talk some Packers football.
Sure. Why not!? One way or another, this TE position is getting fixed. MLF might finally be able to realize his vision on offense, and we night finally have a guy who'll throw to the TEs.
I don't think his on-field athleticism is as good as Musgrave's but he's a very solid all-around guy.

Dominating at the FCS level doesn't mean a whole lot to me. He's a gifted athlete, that's for sure.
And was recruited by Alabama and other schools, but elected to stay. FCS doesn't mean raw.
Say that 1 year ago exactly.

SDSU is now top tier FCS, same as NDSU and noone penalizes players coming from there.
Coming from a small school def still scares some teams away, or makes players go later. This guy may have gone in the 1st if he had made that transfer to bama. Glad he stayed put.
I really like the pick, I just think he'll take time to develop.
Both TEs will because all TEs do. But the positive is they will be growing with the rest of the offense. They won't feel "behind" like they would have if they were drafted in 2021 or so.
I think we all liked this kid, same with Musgrave, our TE position is set for years to come, hope there a couple of quick studies and can contribute this season

It is tough for TEs. They have to know the blocking scheme like an OT and the passing game like a WR. I always think they should focus on a dozen plays and get them up to speed. And expand the playbook later as the season unfolds. I think they can contribute as rookies, but we can't expect too much. I would work with Musgrave on receiving aspects and Kraft as a more rounded player.
