I'm hoping the Packers open the season on the road in Chicago ............. just to get the rivalry started with the new generation of QBs battling it out in the Central / North / Black 'n Blue.

Stadium View is the best place down there nowadays.
Best place for what???? Mediocre food and a great crowd.
When was the last time your were there? Changed a ton last 5-10 years.

Best ambiance, best food, best outdoor seating.

They are missing some quality wings, but great place to bring the whole fam, kids love it. Get the pesto fries next time you go.

I had the nachos last season at Stadium View. Cheese whiz cheese on the nachos. Barely worth eating. Anduzzis food was much better.

Apparently the Packers will travel the 2nd least number of miles this season.

Here it is via Bill Huber:

https://www.si.com/nfl/packers/news/202 ... me-packers

Start off with two road games, @Chicago and @Atlanta, and is highlighted by 5 primetime games plus the early Thanksgiving Day game.
Here is the Green Bay Packers’ 2023 Schedule

Week 1: at Chicago Bears
Sunday, Sept. 10, 3:25 p.m., Fox

Week 2: at Atlanta Falcons
Sunday, Sept. 17, noon, Fox

Week 3: New Orleans Saints
Sunday, Sept. 24, noon, Fox

Week 4: Detroit Lions
Thursday, Sept. 28, 7:15 p.m., Prime

Week 5: at Las Vegas Raiders
Monday, Oct. 9, 7:15 p.m., ESPN

Week 6
Bye

Week 7: at Denver Broncos
Sunday, Oct. 22, 3:25 p.m., CBS

Week 8: Minnesota Vikings
Sunday, Oct. 29, noon, Fox

Week 9: Los Angeles Rams
Sunday, Nov. 5, noon, Fox

Week 10: at Pittsburgh Steelers
Sunday, Nov. 12, noon, CBS

Week 11: Los Angeles Chargers
Sunday, Nov. 19, noon, Fox

Week 12: at Detroit Lions
Thursday, Nov. 23, 11:30 a.m., Fox

Week 13: Kansas City Chiefs
Sunday, Dec. 3, 7:20 p.m. NBC

Week 14: at New York Giants
Monday, Dec. 11, 7:15 p.m., ABC

Week 15: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Sunday, Dec. 17, noon, Fox

Week 16: at Carolina Panthers
Sunday, Dec. 24, noon, Fox

Week 17: at Minnesota Vikings
Sunday, Dec. 31, 7:20 p.m., NBC

Week 18: Chicago Bears
Date, time and TV all TBA
As I said the other day, prime time is all about ratings. The Packers still draw a crowd regardless of who is playing QB.

6 Nationally televised games. That certainly didn't take a dip.

Did want the bears week 1, but wanted it at Lambeau and wanted to be there. Like Rodgers first start against the Vikings.

But either way, time to introduce da bares to their new owner. Want to see something like this.

2 Thursday games.

First one is kind of weird, it’s followed by a Monday night game and then our bye week.

Next one is followed by a SNF game.

3 psuedo bye week, 4 when you consider the playoffs.

So if networks had free reign, that still sure feels like a FOX heavy schedule. Not entirely surprised by that, either.

If you are old school like me, you definitely appreciate the number of Noon games slotted. Obviously some of those can be flexed if we are better than the outside anticipates, but for now, excited about those.

It looks exactly the same in that regard. @ AFC games are on CBS, the rest national or on FOX.

Cannot wait!!!!!! Haven’t seen any leaks. Will be interesting to see how few prime time games we have.
I'm excited to have more than 4 noon games again!
Going to be almost all noon games for the foreseeable future if Love is only OK or worse.
Hey hey hey.....

Not the year to no-show Week 1. Winnable game, on the road, that really might kind of set the table for the rest of the season way more than any other year in memory.

3 out of the first 5 games on the road and same for last 5 games. Only 2 December games at home. Was hoping to see how we do in bad weather with Love before getting home field advantage for the playoffs.

I'll be interested to see how many opponents we get following their bye week. If memory serves, we always seem to get multiple games like that every year. That's a tough game no matter who the opponent is, especially if it's in their house.
