For the "in case you missed it" file, Cliff Christl is doing a very interesting series on Lambeau's offensive systems:

Jalen Ramsey at 97? What a joke. That guy got embarrassed every time he played the Packers.

All the Packers rookies are signed now - and they have 12 mil in cap to bring someone in or renew one of the players who will be FA's at the end of this season.

I don't expect the Packers to spend a significant amount of their cap space on a free agent at some point this season. I believe they will roll over as much as possible into 2024 to possibly make a splash next offseason.TheSkeptic wrote: ↑21 Jul 2023 00:42All the Packers rookies are signed now - and they have 12 mil in cap to bring someone in or renew one of the players who will be FA's at the end of this season.

As for the Packers available cap space, I'd think the first priority is with signing Gary to a long term contract. Maybe get a deal worked out for Love, too, possibly after a few weeks of the regular season. I also don't expect much in the way of signing a FA, not with the transition year underway and too many unknowns at this point.

Interesting, it has been thought the defense really improved the last few months of the season. Maybe that wasn't the case.

I’m shocked that the Bengals didn’t do better. They have so much talent on the offense.

They improved from the point where they were. But considering where they were, that isn’t saying much.
Yeah, if there’s any semblance of stopping the run next year, our D will be better. Maybe not top 5. But still better. I think it will. Reason: PackerNation will have to haggle over the future of Joe Barry. The D will not meet expectations, but it will improve. And this’ll stoke the fires of whether to fire him or give him another “prove it” season.
Hahahahaha

He appears to have some arm strength and can move around in the pocket. It will be very interesting to see how he performs this summer against arguably better competition than he faced un the USFL...

Stokes is worrisome. That should be healed and he should be good to go. I can't imagine that he comes off before camp starts. There would be no reason to put him on if that was the case.

Considering our conservative training staff, that is not surprising. He was put there warming up in OTAs, but didn't participate. I expect him to take a. Week or 2 to get back on the field in TC. If it is more than that I would be concerned.Ghost_Lombardi wrote: ↑21 Jul 2023 17:00Stokes is worrisome. That should be healed and he should be good to go.
