I actually like it.
I remember all this crap about Aaron Rogers 2008 - January 2011.
Then it all stopped. To the point where it all stopped too much.
But honestly buildup to the "I told you so" was the most fun period as a Packers fan in my life.
I mean it was a hot take, but not an egregious one. First off, Schein has had a show for over 18 years. He got the tv show due to the popularity of his radio show. He’s no bum.
Second, he’s a rodgers loyalists. Rodgers used to go on his show about once a year. The list of people Rodgers goes on their show is tiny…this shows his loyalty to 8, formerly known as 12.
Schein has been with Yoop forever on the Wide receiver situation in GB. He never thought davante alone was enough and he completely punted on the packers after davante left and he was happy Rodgers left GB.
He’s been against Love from the beginning because he thought that pick should have been used on useful offense.
Love hasn’t shown us anything his whole career. If a sports personality wants to declare that he sucks, it’s on Love to make him look stupid, he sure doesn’t look stupid yet!!

We're rolling with Sean Clipboard.

Both MLF and Gutekunst have been pretty clear about the starting offensive line being out there as long as Love is playing in the preseason.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑04 Aug 2023 21:18I would start most of the offense minus Bak and Jones and rest the defense.
No hate, just my fun nickname for him.

Really good read about the maturation of Jordan Love.

A couple of years later, LaFleur still feels the sting of [Love's start @KC]. It was Wednesday of that week when he found out Love would start, and he’d wind up regretting not anticipating what Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo—who’s aggressive to begin with—would throw at the young QB.
“They zero blitzed the hell out of us,” LaFleur says. “Would they have done that to Aaron? Probably not. It was just a different set of circumstances, because we didn’t know until Wednesday. What I should have done in hindsight is start over with the game plan, not to throw everything out, but just have better answers for him specifically so it took a little off his plate. I was worried about it going into the game, and my biggest fears came true.
“I’m still kicking myself about that.”
So if it weren't already obvious from watching the game, LaFleur confirms he did not re-work the gameplan at all heading into Love's start against Kansas City, admits that this was a blunder on his part and that KC took advantage on defense due to his bad gameplan on O.
lol @ people whose whole argument against Love was this 1 game that MLF messed up.

Gary returning off PUP probably deserves its own thread, don't you think?
