I was watching but working as well. No notable injuries we've heard of?

I thought this was by far and away Loves worst preseason game. I thought he was late and inaccurate most of the game. Great throw on the TD though.
Dillon ran hard and was impressive. I’ve been critical of not only Dillon but the atrocity of the pick. This preseason he’s got the hole hard and fast and always leaves me satisfied… that’s what she said.
Heath continues to play well and make tough catches. He could be the next Lazard try hard type of player who doesn’t excel but is a good piece.
I thought the OLine performed poorly in pass protection. Love often had to bail early but he also didn’t help himself with some poor passes.
Defensive line across all the teams was ferocious.
DBs looked pretty good. Valentine continues to be a beast. He needs to catch that pick but just the fact that he continues to make these plays is impressive for a rookie against an experienced QB like Lock who is the type of QB who is a decent backup IMO.

Cancelled by the forum elites.
Only one? Sounds like a bad injury to lose a leg.Madcity_matt wrote: ↑26 Aug 2023 15:39I suppose beats the alternative of him walking off without a legCdragon wrote: ↑26 Aug 2023 15:23Newman walked off with a leg. So Love had 8 possessions in the preseason and led 3 TD drives (all TD passes) and a FG drive; no 3& outs it looks like and only one turnover possession on the bad snap by Meyers
Blogger Andy, Jordan Love, and MLF, need to stfu about the wave while on offense.
1) it’s the wave, it’s not 70k shaking a cowbell. If the wave is distracting at all, it should be used to help prepare the team for real distractions on the road.
2) it’s preseason. Just display “no wave on offense” on the Jumbotron during real games. I’m sure most will get the memo. The wave should be the last thing Blogger Andy, players, and coaches are worried about.
3) it’s a gold package game. I live no where near wisconsin and even I know they don’t know how to act.
4) it’s a sign a weakness that the team would take away valuable time from Love and have him cut a clip telling fans he needs silence. That time should be used watching film. Also, I bet people could barely even see that. It needs to be in bold letters, big font like before games and in commercial breaks for tv.
Toughen up and focus in. If you can’t handle the wave, we’re screwed come January at Levi’s stadium.

I thought the fans were awesome yesterday. I could sense the energy from my TV.
But yes. Get loud on defense. Stand on defense. Never sit on defense. Not on offense.

This isn't intended to be a serious point, right? I believe last year it was a rant about spending time talking about asking the fans to to scream on defense in a press conference. Time wasted in a press conference that could have been used game planning.

The wave is going to happen regardless. Just as the "Roll Out The Barrel" jingle is going to happen at the end of the 3rd Quarter right when the taps are turned off. What did you think of rest of post?
I would say the last three lines of that point were serious. Put it on the Jumbotron like they do the “see something, say something” slides at games. Love in the corner while showing a play was silly.

I just think worrying about what the home paying fans are doing, while your team is missing the playoffs is lame. Team needs to worry about what happens on the grass.go pak go wrote: ↑27 Aug 2023 09:35This isn't the first micro management of "proper time usage" rant post.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑27 Aug 2023 09:28This isn't intended to be a serious point, right? I see absolutely nothing wrong with it. In fact I invite it.Drj820 wrote: ↑27 Aug 2023 09:51I just think worrying about what the home paying fans are doing, while your team is missing the playoffs is lame. Too long every Packer head was too afraid of touching the topic because the "passion" is there on the outside (due to sell out streak) and the assumption is the Packers have the best fans in the world. But I have been to a lot of Packers away games as I am on my way to see them in every stadium.
The Packers "stadium fear" lags behind other organizations significantly. Especially during the 2010's
Minnesota, New Orleans, Seattle, SF (when they are good), (Detroit will be), Philly, Kansas City are miles ahead of Lambeau. In fact a lot of teams are when their team is good compared to when our team is good.
So I invite the coaches and players to try and educate how important crowd noise is because I can't stand how much better of a home field advantage US Bank is for Minnesota than Lambeau is for Green Bay.
Well I’m more talking about crying in a preseason game about fans doing the wave..but I mean…yes, packers fans that go to games are usually old and maybe less rowdy. Especially the thing about not standing..that’s rediculous…go pak go wrote: ↑27 Aug 2023 10:11I see absolutely nothing wrong with it. But lambeau will never be US Bank because of stadium design. That place is built to be loud, it’s a freakin dome with a low roof. They also blow a demented horn just to be loud.
Candlestick park was loud, but levis stadium isn’t. Most of it comes down to design

IMO the wave is dumb (and passe), especially when we are on offense. I have a feeling the reason it won't die is because some fans get bored and try to get it going no matter what is happening on the field.RingoCStarrQB wrote: ↑27 Aug 2023 09:45The wave is going to happen regardless.
