It's hard to not feel bad for Bears fans...

Just to add some context to the earlier discussion over PFF grades.

Apparently PFF graded Jordan Love’s performance as a 60.8 yesterday. Justin Fields received a 60.9 grade.

I’m not sure what metrics they’re using or the standards of grading…but how in the hell does Fields receive a higher grade than Love??

I like JT's breakdowns waaaaay better than Kurt Warner's

Anyway, Love's decisions were once again on point, which is great. It's also encouraging that he is comfortable using his eyes to move defenders. I just hope he can improve his accuracy a bit more.

Fields had 9 more completions at almost 65%. He was also the leading rusher in yardage and yds per carry (6.6)! All of this while under pressure the entire game. Love had a worse completion percentage and was propped up by a better offensive line. Plus everyone knows that throws under 5 yards in the air are much harder than ones down the field.

Plus the Packers cheeseheads were interferring with Fields' sight. Packers fans added mirrors and lasers to them to distract him.

I think that probably covers it.

Yeah, and I don't know how much that's a thing that will improve, but I think even with the occasional off-target throw, his completion percentage will improve a lot as he gets more comfortable and in sync with his receivers.

Even the ones JT showed like the slant to Heath or the tight window to Doubs, you wonder if the placement was the issue or the timing on the route. For instance if Doubs had cut straight in instead of doing a little juke at the cut, the ball might have been right on him--though he also may have had less separation.

The slant to Heath and the out to Reed I think the ball didn't go where he wanted. But some to Musgrave or the deep shot to Toure or the Doubs one I described, he might have (probably?) expected the route to be run slightly differently.

Back in his later years that's the only place Brett could hit with any modicum of success. Outside was almost always off target. Slants and crossers tho, Brett would shred ya.

I remember what a nice change Aaron was.

me to, the dink and dunk is boring, same with run, run, run, everyone her loved McCarthy's spread verticals, loved watching Rodgers extend plays and hitting his receivers with pin point accuracy 40 yrds down field, my one hope is that Love can also do some of that.

lots of people don't like paying a RB, in fact few here wanted to pay Jones, to me production is what matters, and I don't care if it's a RB, a WR, or even a return specialist, if there production is responsible for winning games, I get out the wallet :)

Guys, the QB School analysis of Justin Fields is AN HOUR LONG

I have watched a lot of JT O'Sullivan breakdowns. Occasionally they go over 30 minutes. The Love Week One tape went a hair under 26 minutes.

He reviews Justin Fields for AN HOUR.

I want to watch but I dunno if I can commit that time.

In his Intro he calls this "The Dumpster Fire Spectacular"
