From Lambeau to Lombardi, Holmgren, McCarthy and LaFleur and from Starr to Favre, Rodgers and now Jordan Love we’re talking Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers football. This Packers Forum is the place to talk NFL football and everything Packers. So, pull up a keyboard, make yourself at home and let’s talk some Packers football.
FFS, someone fact check this. This cannot possibly be true. If it is, this might be the craziest Brady stat, yet.
I am assuming that at 3-8 when he took snaps against the Lions in 2000 they were mathematically eliminated.
Then again, it takes a lot to be eliminated (as we saw last year) and his divisional rivals with the Pats were mediocre in a good season, so maybe he wasn't.
Anyway, I am too lazy to fact-check it. See if ChatGPT is up to the task lol.

The Colts were a playoff team, and at that point were 7-4 to NE's 3-8, so it looks like they were four games back with five to go, hence not mathematically out of it.
Did Dean Lowry get beat like a drum by Philly last night? I didn't watch the game. So any input...
I don't recall Lowry's name ever called during the broadcast. I also don't know if he even played. Eagles rushed for over 200 yards if that tells you anything.

His name was called a couple times. Only once positively if i recall

Why the hate for Dean? He is a JAG, not a game changer. He was the best the Packers could afford for many years. The Packers have moved on and now the Vikings are stuck with playing a JAG. It is not his fault that he his arms are too short to be a game changer.
No hate. I was just to accurately answer the question. I did hear his name. Once it was positively.
But as to any other opinions, fans tend to hate players who get overpaid. I always felt that was a bit unfair, as well, but if i has to guess, the Lowry extension and continuing to be a JAG is what earned dislike among many fans.
Lowry was terrible here. He started off looking pretty promising as a big athletic end and i think extending him wasn’t a terrible move. I would say it was neutral. The problem really came when every off-season came around and we kept him and even worse added void years. I had said time and time again we needed to move on from our bad contracts and take our medicine for a year.

He always had some good moments. But consistency wasn’t one of them.

Lowery was simply a player ya hope to improve upon, and we finally did, the money doesn't matter, almost any DT gets what he got on a 2nd contract, and ya keep him because you don't see a way to acquire a better player, you know the same way other GM's do it
