thanks for sharing, nice tradition, I still don't know who it helps though, is the helmet auctioned off to the highest bidder with proceeds distributed to a charity Bart started? I assume so, but that just wasn't clear, or I'am not hearing it.

I say all the time how fortunate it is to be a fan of such a storied sports team, GO PACK GO

It's for childhood cancer. Google Bart Starr Helmets for Heroes. Cherry is carrying on the tradition. The auction ended Sept 13th.

I appreciate posts/threads like this. Might not be a football thing so much. But players and coaches are humans too. It's important for them and us to play a part in making other lives better.
