We make our picks when salmar starts the thread, not before. If salmar gets trampled by a moose that week...well...then we just miss a week I guess.
I'll try to run the competition as well as I can from now on. I guess there's demand for it :aok:

Ideally I'll close the voting and open a new thread at midpoint between games: Wednesday on a normal week, Tuesday on a short week.

There are a lot of moose and reindeer where I live, so if I DO get trampled and you there's no thread by gameday morning, feel free to open it and give me hell.

The Packers lunatic fringe is more visible because of sheer numbers. The Packers have one of the largest fan bases in all of sports. If the fringe percentage is the same as with other teams, then we end up with larger volumes of nut jobs. - JustJeff
