I dunno, might be a good call. People like to watch train wrecks...

I believed this, but to figure out what the other game is, I clicked on it and browsed the replies.
No, this is wrong; DEN @ CHI is a noon game (sadly, those of us that live in WI are still stuck with it).
The map in the OP is actually for NE @ DAL, with AZ @ SF being the other game:

Getting Miami Buffalo and Minny Carolina.
Good slate of games to watch early.
Between fantasy leagues.
I got Tua, Allen and Kirk. Cook and Sanders, Gabe Davis, Kincaid and Hockenson all playing today.

Broncos just tied up the Bears at 28 to 28. Bears are collapsing.

On one hand, watching the Bears blow a 28-7 lead has been innately satisfying and hilarious.
On the other hand, this might be the only game this year either of these teams can win and I need Caleb Williams not to be a Bear

Looks like we'll be hanging our hopes on Williams taking a look at Chicago at #1 and deciding to stay at USC.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑01 Oct 2023 14:33On one hand, watching the Bears blow a 28-7 lead has been innately satisfying and hilarious.

I watched da Bears and Broncs.
I’m not crazy. Ok? I wanna get that out there right away. But Justin Fields was actually impressive today - for 3 quarters. Aside from a Hail Mary at the end of the first half, he only had his first completion at the start of the fourth quarter. He was throwing on time and had maybe 7 explosive passes. Granted it was against a bad defense. But in the fourth the Broncs D figured out enough to make a difference.
In the end, da Bears still suck.

Yeah. Justin Fields looking good for 3 quarters against a defense who just allowed 70 points shouldn't be something praised too much.Scott4Pack wrote: ↑01 Oct 2023 17:45I watched da Bears and Broncs.

Since the start of 2021 the Bears have had 13 games where their defense gave up 25 points or more, They have lost every single game. However, in games where the defense gave up 20 points or less, they are 8-3.Scott4Pack wrote: ↑01 Oct 2023 17:45I watched da Bears and Broncs.

I actually watched that entire game. Nobody here will probably believe that Fields actually played a great game unless they also watched it.RingoCStarrQB wrote: ↑01 Oct 2023 14:30Broncos just tied up the Bears at 28 to 28. Bears are collapsing.
The guy has two incompletions the entire game. One was a Hail Mary at the end of the first half. The other was a INT on the last desperate play of the game. (He did slightly throw to the wrong side of the WR, enough for the DB to step in front.)
He had two bad plays the entire game. One was the INT. On the other, he got pressure from his blind side and fumbled for a defensive TD. Granted, those are two big plays. But he starts with something like 16 straight completions, 5 or 6 of which are 20+ yards. Even against a bad defense, that’s balling in my book.
He might just be bad the rest of the year. But he put on a show yesterday. Still came away with a L. Da Bears still suck.
BTW, their HC took the ball out of Fields’ hands twice at critical moments. Once in the first half, he could’ve (should’ve) gone for a 4th and short. He chose to punt. Then, he had a 4th and short near the end of the game and he gave the ball to the RB to run into the A gap. This is one of my pet peeves. Coaches brag about their star players. And then at critical times, they don’t let the stars be the money guy to make plays. Those guys just outcoach themselves sometimes.

My hope is Fields shows just enough, again, this year to convince the Bears front office to stick with him and/or win enough games to take them out of the top 2 picks. I think the latter is the more likely as it'd be difficult to pass on either of those top 2 QBs.Scott4Pack wrote: ↑02 Oct 2023 09:51I actually watched that entire game. She can't possibly be funnier, or more laughable, than what Barry puts on the field most weeks.
