Yeah I remembered thinking his drive in Baltimore on Monday Night 2005 was good as well. He had command of the huddle and threw good balls. Was the only real drive we were able to muster all night (Favre was terrible). Unfortunately it ended in a pick and that completely drove the narrative that Rodgers sucks.Waldo wrote: ↑01 Sep 2020 11:00I remember thinking his 2nd year that he actually looked pretty good, he was doing well with ball placement and he didn't have happy feet. But.... that year the 2nd string receivers couldn't catch a cold, so his production and offensive efficiency was just horrid. Turd Ferguson let him down. But to me at least, that's when I started to see it, but it wasn't until his 3rd year that consensus started moving; year 2 he was, in the eyes of most, a horrid bust.

no no no, he fumbled twice and threw a pic. He looked like garbage at the end of an all around blowout. I was at that game. In the press box. TT looked like he'd seen a ghost and it was his future.go pak go wrote: ↑01 Sep 2020 12:45Yeah I remembered thinking his drive in Baltimore on Monday Night 2005 was good as well. That game was in 2006 and its when GB busted the Patriots for illegally filming defensive signals from the stands.Crazylegs Starks wrote: ↑01 Sep 2020 12:42then there was that blow-out loss against NE where he came in for Favre and looked terrible.

We got inside like the 15 yardline which was better than Favre did at all that night. And that's when he threw the pick in the endzone.
I also remember one fumble (but I never count it) because that was like the last play of the game and if I remember right it was a cheap blitz the Ravens sent on our young QB on a 3rd down with less than 30 seconds to go when the Ravens were up by over 35 points.
I guess I just gave him a pass earlier than others because I got a keen eye and could clearly see the talent.

I was actually way more right than I even thought I was!
Again. I see a QB who outperformed Favre. Got us inside the 15 (just like I remembered). Threw a pick in the endzone. (just like I rembmered). Got sacked and fumbled on basically the last play of the game on 3rd down due to a bull-sh*t blitz when the Ravens were dominating.
It didn't look great. But it sure looked better than Brett. And our offense SUCKED 2005 - late November 2006.
That's why I loved Mac so much. Man did he turn our offense around.
I think this is his first practice in the past two years. Tall task to make an impression now.

Too small to use him the way they do.
Cancelled by the forum elites.
I doubt that has anything to do with this recent injury because it came from at most, a thud-only practice.
Veterans have had 0 live tackling this summer.
Greene with an ankle injury per reports... and an ankle injury is what knocked him out last year as well.
Hope its minor and they are just playing it safe. He's an asset at ILB
