Crazy our pick is worse in each round than the ‘buyers’ we traded with.

And the exact opposite result of what the (whining) packer writers predicted at the time of those trades
That Jets 2nd is gonna be a really tasty slot come April and the Bills pick is trending in the right direction. That's a lot of ammo for a playoff team -
right now Tankathon has GB with the 4th most draft capital in the entire league

Won’t add a ton to that total draft value, but should be getting a 4,6 and 7 comp picks too.

a 1, two 2nds, two 3rds, two 4ths, a 5th, two 6ths, two 7ths?

Love it. Just gotta find a 1st and 5th to double up in every round.

Sucks the Patriots won, that was maybe our last hope for maybe the bears not having the first pick.

Should get a starting safety and a starting Olineman out of this. I can see cutting Toure and drafting a WR in round 3. Or using both 3rd round picks to move up in round 2. Other than that I don't see any holes on this team, so BPA.

JRJ, Nijman, Eric Wilson and Deguara should not be back.

Seen enough on the season to determine what we need.

Tier 1 Needs- Absolutely must acquire talent here to be competitive
LT, RG, RB, Slot CB, FS, SS
Walker is fine for a backup swing but he cant be a starting OT. JRJ needs to go and I havent seen enough from Rhyan. Jones just takes up too much cap for an easily replaceable position and Dillon is unspectacular. Nixon as a CB has been a massive failure. Both S's are nothing spectacular.
Tier 2 Needs- Positions that need to be upgraded
QB, C, Outside CB
Jordan Love looks like a mid tier QB. QBs are overpaid for and you need to overpay for great, not good. Josh Myers is playing his best season but he is still not playing well or consistently. Stokes is a bad player and looks like Jaire wants out.
Tier 3 Wants- Positions that need someone to develop for the future
WR, ILB, DT, RT
I think you should always be bringing in new WRs to develop. With Watson's injury history we need to carry at least 6. Campbell is done but McDuffie looks capable for a year. Probably going to want to start looking at moving on from Clark for his cost. Tom is a fine RT but I still feel his best position is C.
Cancelled by the forum elites.

Here is our current '25 roster under contract

I think where you see a lot of holes here is where our biggest draft priority comes.

Then you wanna look at if you end up resigning Love, JRJ, Slaton, Kenny, Myers.

Also will be guessing Preston and Campbell will both be gone by then as well at their current contracts.

McDuffie needs to be in there for better or worse.

My guess is we end up anywhere from 15th to 20th in the draft pecking order. 19th is awarded to the worst playoff team. We actually very likely may end up being the 6th seed at 9-8 if it comes to that.

It is worth dropping from pick 20 to 11 and not making the playoffs to keep Barry employed. Him and MLF are friends, and that helps with a winning attitude to carry into next season.

Should save $3M in cap in '24 if we release him. Also then freeing up again $9M in both 25 and 26. Just another move that needs to happen.

With 11 draft picks currently (I think it should be 12, I think 4, 6, 7 comp picks).

Just roll with Walker and McDuffie and take 2 LB's in the draft, like 3rd/4th and 6/7th round or something. See if one of them hit.

Well, most of the game he was assigned to cover WR2 that on some teams would be WR1. But, he should also just have found a way to survive those downs.

That will happen when your ILB is covering Chris Godwin with regularity.
