I think teams looking to bring in new QBs should take interest in Seattle's QB coach, the other Greg Olson.

He's been an OC and QB coach in a lot of stops and had a number of fairly positive results, including revamping Geno Smith and making Lock look good in relief. I think he'd be a valuable addition to most teams where QBs need some guidance

I've been trying to look around for good coaches that are victims of being a part of bad staffs or bad situations that are no being freed up. As much success as we've had, I think you need to balance continuity with new voices and perspectives, so the venture could apply to us, as well as to the teams looking for new hires top to bottom, if I see anyone that could upgrade a spot or two

No surprise on Bill being out. Should have given up the GM role years ago and it may have been different.

Have to think Mayo and Vrabel are the top 2 choices.

So as far as HC vacancies are concerned, I'm tracking:

Atlanta Falcons
Las Vegas Raiders
Carolina Panthers
LA Chargers
Washington Commanders
Tennessee Titans

That all of 'em?
Most years we get to 8, who are our other possibles:

Bears?
Pats?
Nola?

anyone im missing
There's your 8...

Carroll, Bellichick, and Saban in 24 hours.

The septagenarian Parcels coaching tree is officially bygone (even though BB will coach again)

Sean Payton and Dan Campbell are further down limbs that will live on.

I wonder if maybe, just maybe, Saban would consider partnering up one more time with BB in the NFL.

I doubt it. They've both grown beyond a supporting role in both talent and ego. Yeah, they're friends but I'm not convinced they could co-exist on a sideline together.

Saban retired. If he wanted to keep coaching he would do it at bama.

Belichik wants another job tho.

I bet we see saban on tv

Both would likely appreciate the reduced workload of splitting duties, but yeah, I agree. Just floating that out there. What I am really struggling with is looking at the openings and deciding where the "good fit" is for Belichick. I know many will think LA, but that seems so anti-Belichick. Tennessee, tough sell after firing one of his former players. Washington? Always seems like a big opportunity, but cupboard pretty bare in talent and likely rookie QB. Atlanta, don't see it with the explosive weapons they have. New Orleans might actually make some sense, but they haven't fired Allen, so I don't know where to go.

I wonder if Belichick ends up in Carolina after Tepper gives him full control as GM/HC...? Are their any other viable full control options?

I cant imagine a single established coach with other offers wanting to take over the Panthers. That teams got very little going for it on offense and they dont have the picks to repair it this offseason.

Not sure belichik will demand full control. I think he just wants a place he can break the wins record.

two could become HC for several different teams, the other two could have consulting positions with dozens of others, the problem would be that they may be a distraction

Huh.

Any guesses? I’d assume it’s a playoff team…?

Plenty of rumors that both McCarthy and Siriani's spots aren't set in stone. Especially with an early playoff exit. Heard Dolphins too. Some teams are going to do very dumb things to get Bill.
