Penix is garbage without a perfect pocket. Drop that dude out of the first two days.
Yeah, that was gross.

Very inaccurate, , bad mechanics, crappy footwork, couldn’t throw off schedule. Didn’t watch him a ton this year, but I don’t even think I could draft him. Just like no chance he had a competent starting level qb ceiling.

Was feeling for him at the end though. Those ribs looked like they were hurting something fierce.

I haven’t been much of a Penix guy. I don’t think he has any special traits. Reminds me a bit of Tua.

had a bad night, pass rush got to him, he threw for over 9000 yrds the last 2 seasons, I've read people say he has the most accurate deep ball of anyone they've seen since Rodgers, he'll go late round one or early second, just based on that, Michigans defense is very good at making QB's look bad.

wasn't Tua a top 5 pick?

Yeah mostly because he played for Alabama IMO.

to me that would seem to help Penix too, his team is number 2 in a passing division that he dominated in.

I agree when people say defense wins championships, in college ball I think thats true :idn: and it was on full display last night anyway.

Tua >>>> Penix regardless of school. Talent, decision making, accuracy, mechanics. Tua has the prettiest, tightest spiral, ever.

I wouldn’t touch Penix in the late first. LIS, I just flat out wouldn’t draft him. But that’s me. Just don’t think he has an NFL caliber ceiling.

Penix lost a lot of money last night

He was soaring before the country realized he needs a clean pocket to be accurate

To me I thought those schools were on completely different levels. Michigan has completely superior team and in terms of recruiting Michigan does way better.

Georgia would have put up a better fight.

Well here's a new twist for the Bears to consider...

So will the Williams camp also want a say in who Chicago trades the pick to, as well?

Anybody except Da Bears. Chicago is where QB's go to fail. LB's, Dlinemen and RB's do OK.

I wouldn’t say a word if I were Chicago and announce any potential trade on draft day. Sorry kid

I'd laugh my ass off if Chicago trades down to 2 and the Commanders go with Drake Maye.

Packers can now get pick 25, 29, 31, or 32nd pick in the draft.
