THAT'S why you use the checkdown! Let players make plays!

Williams doesn't have that foot speed to get around the end on a consistent basis.

Hell of a catch for Jones, just OB.

Nice methodical drive! 7 would have been nice, but I will take 3.

Half the quarter... that really quieted the crowd down.

Packers are setting something up on those quasi reverses.

I felt they should have gotten some inside runs on that final series but not a bad start.

Okay, good drive. I like how they kept it moving. I wanted 7 but glad we put some points on the board to start off.

That said, aren't the first plays scripted? A little annoying that they have to keep taking it down to :01 (letting the DL/blitz tee off).

Yeah, there's a plan brewing with THAT many of those plays.

Safe, methodical series. Pretty nice warmup sequence for the O and new players.

Let's go D!!!

I could have done with different red zone play calls. Two completions behind the l.o.s from 10-11 yards out feels like a weird choice. One? sure. But two?

Anyway, great to start the season moving effortlessly down the field and getting points on the board.

They didn't keep taking it down to :01. Only 1 or 2 times did they do that. I specifically looked for that. Most of the time it was under 5, but there is nothing wrong with that.

Looks like Krys Barnes is actually starting at ILB next to Kirksey.

WTF was that alignment? We had no one from inside the guard to outside the tackle...
