Honestly I think we’re doing great at this. Realistic without being generic to the standard predictions

@BF004 is back up

Tough board for the Packers. I think fairly realistic, though, as YoHo said. I am coming around to Chop late in the process here. I think he'd be my pick if no trade back presents itself. I think that speed, finesse rusher is something that every time needs in today's NFL even if he is not a high volume snap player. You need a full stable of EDGE guys these days.

Packers and @YoHoChecko OTC, don’t mess it up.

I don’t have a team I’d wanna send a trade offer for.

I also think a type Gute has gone out of his way to not have on this team. Frankly don’t see that changing. He likes the big long, go through you, types, over the run around you types.

I’d be going Jordan Morgan if I was up, although I’d prefer a little trade back I think.

My thought process is that Hafley will use a stable of rushers with different skill sets better than the static preferences of Pettine and Barry. Not only does Chop have that different skill set, he has it to the extreme. This is like the Math Rushers wet dream.

Yeah, I am not against Morgan, but I do think he is more suited for OG, so would prefer not spending #25 on him. Here is the CHTV write-up:

A probable week 1 starter at RG with potential long term tackle upside? I'm all in on that for 25.

Guards are extremely valuable, their money isn't far off of tackle, and probably even exceeds that of RT at the top of the market. They make about the same as CB's at the top. No one questions that value at pick 5 or 10, let alone 25.

I am STRUGGLING with this.

Jackson powers Johnson is appealing

KoolAid is appealing.

Both fill needs

Latu is BY FAR the best player on my personal board and plays a premium position. But is not an elite athlete

This one is pretty easy for me. I like chop but the better OTs bury him. Latu might not be as sexy but he will be a steady 8-10 sacks every year. A better Preston Smith imo. I'll take that safe pick

It's in the trade value calculator and I updated, again, anyway.

The neck injury scares me off. The Packers have had horrible luck in that department.

If I am taking an OG at 25, I want an OG. Not an OT to OG convert project. I know we need a lot of depth, so I wouldn't hate the pick, but my eyes are still wandering elsewhere knowing we can still get a lot of OL help later and do not have a glaring starter need.

That is a great point. At one time it was thought he was done.

At 25 I think I still take the chance. Idk. Can't go wrong with a few dudes here

I went with premium position of bigger need—Kool-Aid

Was set on Latu until the neck injury conversation reminded me of our spinal traumas

I get the vibe the league is going to be a little less high on JPJ than the media has been.

Don't love it, don't hate it. That's how I typically feel when the Packers pick, so this feels right on par. The upside is there.
