I had Bullard completely off my board before he added his weight. I’ll have to look into him again but not a fan of his size for a S.

Bullard!!

Probably a week 1 starter right now with Cooper.

Fairly stacked team without a ton of glaring holes may have just drafted 3 week 1 starters.

I'm happy for the pick. He might not be an elite guy. But he's physical and athletic enough. He's versatile and can play the two positions. He gets stronger closer to the LOS. It's a good pick. Good job, Guty.

Bruh. He is exactly what we need as a guy who can play nickel or safety and has ALL the smarts and instincts.

I agree he's lighter than you want for a safety but not by much and he has legit nickel cover ability and has played everywhere in an NFL-style defense. He's perfect for our needs.

I can breathe again.

He also may be an elite guy.

Despite enjoying sparring with the fellas, I’m not mad at this not flashy draft. Good second safety. Def drafting needs.

No, but in the good way.

I know it's dangerous to get locked into one or two guys before the draft, but I very frequently lock into guys the team actually takes so it was SAD when I wasn't feeling on the same page

But this was one of the two guys I needed to get. We got him.

I thought for sure the vikings were trading with tampa to take him at 57. WTF? Not enough draft capital left I guess

After three picks, we have a 4-position OLineman that'll probably start, a ILB who can play now, and a Safety who will be good enough his first year while he learns from an All Pro. That's three positions of need.

At this point, maybe it's all luxury picks. We could use OLine, DLine, RB and maybe CB. But we could make an argument that we are good enough to take that next step.

I'm already happy with this draft class, no matter what else happens.

Bullard reminds me of Brian Branch, if I’m being honest. Tough dude, hard hitter, plays bigger than his size, and just a playmaker. I was hoping for Rakestraw but am very satisfied with the Bullard pick.
