Arizona’s secondary haul just dripping with guys I like
come on now, players at positions like WR are rotational, Reed was our WR with most catches and yrds why wouldn't you consider any I just mentioned as non starters, they all basically started at times last season.
I get so fed up with all this D&D BS people spout as though Rookies don't make a difference, they do, and they start and are major contributors every season and on almost every team
Take a step back. I am agreeing with you and supporting your claim. Skeptic is trying to box "starter" to justify why this is a bad draft.Yoop wrote: ↑27 Apr 2024 11:30come on now, players at positions like WR are rotational, Reed was our WR with most catches and yrds why wouldn't you consider any I just mentioned as non starters, they all basically started at times last season.

Every player we took has a great chance at competing to be an instant contributor. Just because they aren't a "starter" doesn't make them a poor pick.
Even if they aren't technically a "starter".
The oline argument is especially flawed. Each team needs 6 - 7 starting caliber Olineman. We now have that. It's a good thing.
Last pick the Vikings have until 2027.

Vikings just took a garbage corner. His main attribute is “big.”

Darn. I really like Khyree Jackson. I thought he would be good for this projected scheme.

There’s no round when it makes sense to draft a guy who can’t play. If I had a board, he wouldn’t be on it.go pak go wrote: ↑27 Apr 2024 11:35Yeah I was never a fan of Jackson. Unless it was later today.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑27 Apr 2024 11:34Vikings just took a garbage corner. His main attribute is “big.”

Love moving up here. There’s good talent available still. I feel like we have a guy we have as a 3rd round prospect still available.

I was responding to the opinion that a team can't make the PO's if they have more then one rookie starter, which teams prove all the time to be not exactly true, some positions are filled by rookies every year on just about every team and they are not a liability, different era, that may have been more true years ago, not any more.go pak go wrote: ↑27 Apr 2024 11:33Take a step back. then you come in with this if they rotate they can't be called a starter stuff.
