Strengthening the safeties is going to really help our CB room outgo pak go wrote: ↑27 Apr 2024 14:50I'm not in love with our CB room. Lot of reliance on Valentine taking a step or Stokes not sucking which we haven't seen since 2021.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑27 Apr 2024 14:44biggest surprise of the draft haul is no pure corners
Otherwise, hard to complain.
Surprising number of adequate athletes instead of our usual elite ones, but if it comes with instincts and physicality, that's a nice counterbalance to what we have.
Good stuff, good stuff.

6'6" 317 and like woefully below (threshold) athletic measurables
shuttle: 4.84 (4.75)
3-cone: 8.09 (7.75)
40: 5.27 (5.20)
bench: 20
long arms (34+ inches)
a lot of smaller school guys don't get the agility drill training so they don't perform as well relative to their natural abilities, but that's a bit below.
ESPN (Matt Miller) says he had a rough Senior Bowl, has all the traits and agility but needs a lot of work on stance, technique, strength, etc. Calling for a redshirt year.

Sounds like a practice squad guy who will be clearly behind Tanuta and JonesYoHoChecko wrote: ↑27 Apr 2024 16:136'6" 317 and like woefully below (threshold) athletic measurables

Someone to keep our actual OL depth honest this off-season.

Tylan Grable (OL UCF) off the board to the Bills.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑27 Apr 2024 15:53My Guys left
Myles Harden, CB South Dakota
Jaheim Bell, TE/FB/Hback YAC monster
Keldon Slovis, QB BYU
Michael Pratt, QB
Eric Watts, EDGE UConn
Javontae Jean-Baptiste, EDGE Notre Dame
I think that exhausts the guys I know I like
EDIT: I forgot the RBs. Blake Watsonmostly. But Dylan Laube and Cody Schraeder are people that I wouldn't be in the dark on
the changes with kick offs might require more bigs for front line blocking as well as backup O, just as guess

Lions are so predictable now. Mahogany gives them another guy who is tough and physical; this time a guard who wasn't a fit for us, so I didn't care about him, but one of the biggest drops from "consensus" media boards in the draft thus far
Rich Eisen is such a special human being.
I can't think of many people who have such success with no previous athletic history or relying on "shock entertainment" or negativity blasting.
Rich is purely a positive, real representative of sports media and above all is entertaining. The fact he has done this for so long and helped build the NFLN to where it is today is truly remarkable.
Just a genuine dude who has no ego to do anything for the ultimate good and promoting sports everywhere.
